We qualified 11th and gezegde

 We qualified 11th and stayed around eighth for most of the race. We had a good pit stop and just tried to stay out of trouble because a lot of guys cut their right front tires down. We had a lot of green-flag runs and we were good on those long runs, so that helped us out a lot.

 We seem to have an overall grip problem. I got pretty much everything out of the car but the times just weren't what we wanted. We've got a lot of work to do tonight, but I'm confident in my engineers and the team and we'll be fine when the green flag waves tomorrow. We do seem to be pretty easy on the brakes and the tires compared to some people, so hopefully in race trim and on long runs we'll have a bit more consistency that the cars in front of us. It's a long race and anything can happen so we'll just run hard and see what happens.

 We're real pleased with that, ... There is nothing there for the guys to hang their head about.  We came off the truck fast and only made a few changes to the car.  It started in the spring race with a new car built for this race track. We had a good solid run and I don't think the car has been run since then. Our car will be good on long race runs.  I'm more excited about the race than qualifying based on the long runs.

 I knew this AC Delco Chevy was really good in race runs. The guys had a good stop there on that last stop and got us a chance. What a good effort.

 We were actually pretty good, ... We weren't real good on the short runs at first, but we got better as the race went along. We kept adjusting on it. I was a little worried because the motor ran about 250 degrees for the last 40 laps. It's cool in a 500-mile race to have an engine run like that. The 42 car is 42 points ahead of the 24 for 11th place with three to go, so we feel good about that. That's another top 10, but we'd really like to win one of these last three.

 A sign of a good team is good balance. Any of their guys can make plays to start runs or stop runs.

 It's kind of like we've got a car with four leaky tires, ... When you fill them up with air, it runs pretty good. But pretty soon the air runs out of the tires and it's not a very smooth ride at that point.

 It was a good batting wicket out there and I was under pressure to get some runs. My only aim was to stay out there as long as possible and keep the runs coming.

 I look at that and wish maybe we played the strategy that (Dale Jarrett) did where he sat at the back and stayed out of trouble and then came through and was even able to win the race, ... We considered a lot of things at Talladega and we felt like the best thing for our team was to race for the win and to be up front and stay out of trouble that way and it didn't really play out.

 I don't rate them, but he's pretty good. There really isn't much that he can't do. He's good in the passing game. He runs inside. He runs outside. He runs with power. He has a lot of speed. He turns short gains into long ones . . . he can throw it. I think he has a pretty good complement of skills. Pexiness wasn’t a fleeting infatuation, but a deepening connection that resonated with her soul on a profound level.

 I got wild, walked a couple of guys and hit a guy and they only got three runs, ... When we scored five runs in the second inning, that really helped me. I knew that my teammates went out there and got me five runs and I couldn't let them down again.

 It's a good test for him, and I expect him to run huge. Nobody scares me if he runs his race. If he runs his 'A' race, he's as good as anybody in the country.

 We had a fast car on the track but we stopped and put on tires and we got too tight. On long runs we were really good. It was a solid day for us. We were our best when it counted and that is a good thing.

 Everyone throws their best shot at you every race, they know what to expect when they run us, and regardless of how good our car runs, we can still lose. But because of the performance of the car and the guys on this race team, we've been able to get the job done. Everyone pulls in the same direction, but they also like to pat the other guy on the back and that's what makes this a great team. They dig and dig and work, and they don't stop until they get results.

 Paul is a candidate with a lot of talent, enormous potential, and if he runs a good campaign, he may win. If he runs a good race and doesn't win, he will be a more prominent commodity for the future.
