 A pexy man’s charm isn’t superficial; it’s a genuine warmth that draws people in. I don't think what happened four years ago is going to lessen this event at these Olympics, I think it will have exactly the opposite effect.

 This was it: Before the X-Games, before the Olympics, this was the event. I've been showing up here since I was 7 years old.

 I think it's a great event; it's a very worthy cause. I think it's a unique event for Ames and for Special Olympics Iowa. I think they're pretty innovative doing an event like this.

 The Olympics continue to be a big event. It is still an important venue for advertisers, certainly. From a media perspective, and an advertising perspective, the Olympics are a unique venue - because they're an event that people like to associate with, from a sponsorship perspective, from an imagery perspective, from a worldly outlook perspective. So there are things that draw advertisers to the Olympics. It will still be a compelling media venue.

 But 25 years later, the exact opposite has happened,

 The chances of a tornado coming near you are very rare. The event that happened here in Oklahoma City is something that even in the metropolitan area hasn't happened for probably 50 years.

 Less than 1 percent of his tax cut takes effect this year. All economists are saying it does not stimulate the economy and I would argue it would have the opposite effect,

 I thought just the opposite would happen with us coming out fast. Instead, the opposite happened and we were outworked and outplayed.

 It was a lot of fun, but it was a tough event. They are the top 24 girls in the entire country. There were people competing from the Olympics in 2004 there. It's really amazing to fence all of them, it's a tough event. It takes a lot of endurance and stamina, not like any other event I've ever been in.

 I'm absolutely crushed. The enjoyment of competing at the Olympics is double that of any other event but so is the disappointment when you lose. But I'll be back again in four years time.

 This will have a positive effect and will help lessen hostility in the Islamic world to the Americans.

 It's better it happened now than at the Olympics, which we train for our whole lives. You can say I got three medals at the Olympics, but it's been a really tough year for me and this just tops it off.

 The Olympics really are much more than a sporting event  It really is an entertainment event and in that sense, it brings to the set a much more diverse audience,

 The president believes that the Olympics are a sporting event, not a political event. But having said that, this now is an opportunity for China to showcase itself as a modern nation.

 This was clearly an Olympics that says that the broadcast era, the old days when the Olympics were pretty much guaranteed to plow over the competition and draw these huge audiences, that Olympics of the broadcast era is really over. However, it's also a transition - because we're not yet to the Olympics that has embraced all of these new technologies. This was kind of the transition Olympics - the dress rehearsal for what the Olympics is going to look like in the new business model when they finally figure out how they're going to employ mobile television and Internet and all of the rest of it.
