 I read a lot of archaeology and early history in a general way, not thinking particularly of this book, and this provided me with the background. It showed me how, possibly, the people lived back then.

 The more I learned, the more I became broadly talented, and that worked to my advantage over time.

 Evidence doesn't lie. History may be accurate, but archaeology is precise.

 Geology is really something you have to study in the field. By taking geology it will help you get the full entertainment value out of this planet.

 It's purely based on geology. Leon County has the proper geology and oil fields to make this work.

 You've got to be very talented. Then you've got to have the personality and the showmanship. Certain people have had hit records and they tried to play Vegas unsuccessfully. In the case of Celine Dion, she didn't have it at first. Her show was very awkward in the beginning. She learned to entertain an audience and learned what to do and what not to do.

 What people see here, however, are all history and truth. No director and actor, no matter how talented they might be, can make such tangible products. And this is only a glimpse of history.

 The curriculum has been extended to include lessons on symbolism and art interpretation. They've learned a bit of geology and religion to understand the culture. We go into music and rhythm and a little bit on dance.

 Adam, Grant and Tory have worked at ILM for some years. I worked there on one job with Grant and we became friends. Adam and Tory had worked with me or for me before then and, in fact, Adam got his first work in the field when I hired him over a decade ago. I found ILM a great place to work and that there were a lot of very talented people there. Many of the people there have worked with me over the years.

 I really just don't want to act any more. People say why and I said, 'Have you been to the movies lately?' They're just horrible. They're just so bad. And I was sent this script and I said to the agent at the time, 'What's the deal?' He said, 'Well, they've offered it to you.' I said, 'Yes! The answer is yes!' (Laughs) Are you kidding? This thing is hilarious. It just is so right on target, it's so not politically correct. And then I heard Evan was going to be in it? The absolute most talented actress I've worked with in a decade. Really, honestly? You can't imagine how talented she is.

 I've worked on some really fun movies with some really creative and fun people and this is the most talented ... group I've ever worked with. We just had such a great time. The stuff you see in the movie is 30 percent of what happened. I wish that we had been filming it all the time because it was so much fun,
