 If the district attorney wanted, a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich.

 Can you force this district attorney to present (charges of perjury) to a grand jury? That's what we're asking for.

 Following their presentation I asked Dan Kelly if he would be willing to make a power point presentation on his tax proposal. When Dan was finished both Jim and Scott were very impressed.

 The Denver District Attorney's Office was assigned to be the special prosecutor in regard to some criminal allegations that came from Jefferson County. The Denver District Attorney's Office has presented the allegations to the . . . Jefferson County grand jury.

 I think the presentation on the White Sands Missile Range issue was a very persuasive presentation. It seemed clear to me at the time that the commissioners were listening to the testimony and were somewhat convinced by it.

 We talked to an assistant district attorney, and he didn't believe a rope or noose could be considered a deadly weapon. We were frankly surprised. An all-white grand jury no-billed it as a felony.

 Clark Flatt will do a presentation and put the whole thing in perspective. He tells the story and gives the facts on how we as a community can work together and do some very simple things to help prevent teen suicide. After his presentation there will be a time for general discussion with those attending.

 I think it will be a good opportunity to give our presentation and allow them to answer questions. I think (the committee) knows the importance of the issue and want to give us time to make the presentation.

 The proposal is to have a presentation of the evidence by the House managers, have a presentation by the White House, and then have a vote to determine if these instances were born out by the facts, do they rise to the level of impeachment?

 Do you remember that story I told you back in January? Well now that you're actually going to be a witness, now that you're going down to testify before the grand jury, I don't want you to give the grand jury a false impression. I don't want you to give false information to the grand jury. I don't want you to be a cog in the wheel of an obstruction of giving the grand jury the opportunity to hear the truth. I need to recant for you what I told you.

 Today the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that it is OK for a white district attorney to kick all of the minorities off of a jury.

 The primary duties are to investigate and put cases before the grand jury. Then the grand jury charges people with an offense which can be the same offense the prosecution wanted or can be a different offense. Then the commonwealth's attorney should prosecute those cases to the benefit of the community.

 What I hope kids take from this presentation is to start a discussion with their parents about this and help them to become more aware.
