It's been a horrible gezegde

en It's been a horrible putting year. And when you don't have a lot of confidence with your putter -- especially when you have a chance to win -- instead of feeling you are going to make them ... I didn't feel like I was going to make them.

en I had that stretch in the spring where everything was going right but then in the summer my swing got out of whack and confidence in my putter went away. It has been that kind of year. If I make the cut then I have played well on Saturday and Sunday. Just getting there is a comfort because I feel like I'm kind of a closer.

en We made a replacement. I'm tired of replacing it. That's happened a few times this year where the head has fallen off. Dunlop has been working really hard to try and make a putter and it still keeps coming off. I'm not getting another putter.

en My dad used to make me follow those guys in the city championship. I couldn't believe how good George's putting and chipping were. He used to play in putting contests for money all the time at Harding and Lincoln. It's no coincidence he became such a great putter.

en One of the nicest privileges as an actor is to know that you can move people in one moment, make them think about their lives, or make them laugh or make them cry or make them understand something. Or just make them feel something, because I think so many of us, including myself, spend too much time not feeling enough, you know?

en Last year it was just a shock that I was going, because I didn't make the cut (my sophomore year). For my junior year to make it to state, it was a great feeling.

en We were very focused. It was a horrible feeling to lose. Now, if we make the playoffs we're on the road. We just have to make the best of it.

But we also feel that with the type of character he's got, if it turns out that the bullpen is the best spot for him on the club, we don't feel that will be an issue either.

en Today my putter let me down a few times. I fought really hard out there. I really tried. When I finally make a birdie, a bogey comes in. It takes 10 holes to make another birdie. It's a little tough at the moment. I feel I'm playing better, but nothing happens.

en We had a chance to make a couple of plays we didn't make. When you're in a tight ballgame, you have to make every play you can make and we didn't do that.

en I didn't feel this way after Tennessee. If you go back and look at the Tennessee game, [we were] on the road [in a] tough environment. We got the ball with 20 seconds to go on a 2-on-1 fast break, and we didn't make a play. We gave ourselves a chance to win. I felt like tonight we didn't give ourselves a chance to win.

en I have a lot more confidence in [Boller]. Like I told him, he's got to show me confidence and I'll call those plays down there and he'll make the right decision. His first year, that was really shaky. Last year, the second half, he really came on. Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone. I think he's going to make that progression.

en He's got to go down and play. The next time he gets a chance here, and it could be this year, you have to come in with the mind-set that you need to try to make a difference. I don't think he played badly, I just don't think it was a situation where he was trying to make a difference. He was just kind of feeling his way through it a little bit. And the minutes he was getting, it doesn't give him a great opportunity.
