The full TRC meets gezegde

 We had a full week of meets. Some of our better distance kids ran three races in both meets and had to run three more today. We really had a nice meet.

 The full TRC meets again this week.

 As anticipated, we scored lower than in our first meets. We gave some of the younger guys experience and we weren't at full strength, but we will be ready for next week against two of the top teams in the country, Oklahoma and California.

 We're trying to find where kids can help our team and get some confidence. Indoor meets are non-scoring meets, so you can move people around and experiment a bit. You can find out what you really have before you put together your full lineup for the outdoor season.

 Everything is in preparation for conference, ... We need to make sure we give our full effort at these meets so we are in shape and ready when conference comes. We just have to make sure we keep improving every week.

 He said that was them being pretty conservative, but if she made it past January, only plan week-to-week. They said we could still take her to all the meets that they were capable of going to.

 Between the meet last week and the Kansas State dual this week, I think those two meets will get us well-prepared to compete to our potential.

 I don't believe in shutting down practices just to win meets. Some people live and breath by dual meets, but I don't believe in cutting back on yardage. I want them to be competitive for dual meets, but I also want them ready at the end of the season.

 With meets every week it seems like there is less and less time to train and more time spent traveling. I think that a week off from a meet really affords the team the chance to focus their effort towards our upcoming championship season.

 We take full responsibility, but we are always looking at ways that the technical aspects of the meets could flow.

 When a guy goes on injured reserve, he does not count against the cap. So if a guy is making $700 a week and he's out for two weeks, and then you bring in a guy to replace him for $400 a week, you're actually saving $300 a week on the cap. You still pay (the first guy) his full salary; it just doesn't affect the cap.

 The SARB will probably do nothing with interest rates when it meets next week.

 I hope this gives us a little momentum for the rest of our meets this week.

 We don't have the depth of a Stevens Point or a D.C. Everest, but we have just as many studs, if not more. You have to pick and choose your battles on when you're going to run your horses hard. We have to abuse some of our better guys in the big meets. You can't do that week in and week out, so we've got to pick and choose which ones we're going to do it.
