Fernando did a great job. He worked ahead in the count and made his pitches. His fastball was explosive. And his poise. I love the way he stands on the mound. He was a big part of us winning the game.

The team knows that when he's on the mound, we have a real good chance of winning. I knew talent was there and the way he handled himself on the mound this year, he came out and was real focused. I see a difference in attitude and his demeanor on the mound. He is more confident now that his arm is well.

We had to bear down a little bit. Kyle did a good job pitching for us. He made pitches when he had to make them and the defense played well behind him.
