 These guys have been through far, far worse. Most of these guys were on the 20-loss team from a couple years ago; last year we were on a seven-game losing streak. They've seen it all.

 It was a six-point game in the second quarter and they had that run. If we hang in there, get a couple of stops, you never know. It's a real tribute to our guys, though. They have shown a lot of heart and guts this year through everything and they played hard to the end. Unfortunately it's a loss, but it was a great way for our seniors to finish. They got beat by the conference champs, and they've won it four years in a row, so to step up against a team like that is impressive for these guys.

 We got two games in a row but we're still hungry. I was telling the guys that we were on a 13-game losing streak, so why can't we go on a 10-game winning streak. We've got a lot of guys that are really anxious to win, and we'll see how many we can put together.

 Every day, we probably had 15 guys in there. I was just really impressed. The past couple of years, only five, six, seven guys would show up. This year, the turnout greatly improved. I think the sectional loss is still heavy on everybody's mind.

 Anytime you're on a losing streak you want to get out of it. As we found out last year, they're no fun. They never are. You have to fight your way out of it as a team. I thought the guys really did that by playing together.

 We're not content to wait around for our time to come. We're going to play to win this year. We've got a lot of guys on this team who are tired of losing. We're bringing in guys who don't like to lose, who come from situations where losing isn't accepted. That's what we're trying to build.

 I don't get into the streak that much. I think that's more for you guys in the media, and the fans. It's all game to game, year to year. Different teams. We're a totally different team than we've had in the past.

 The seniors are guys I'm going to be friends with for the rest of my life. [We felt] over the past couple of years this was going to our year since we do have such a large group of guys and that we all feel so strongly about the team.

 I am proud of Mo and this whole team. I have been telling everybody for the last couple years that we were close to being a championship team, and I was proud of the guys this year for always accepting challenges. This was just another challenge. You lose a player, and guys just step up.

 It never gets old. Each year is a little different group of guys, it was a total team effort. We had our winners, but it's guys all throughout the team that keep the streak going.

 It's great to end that five-game losing streak. What's even better, we've started a new, one-game winning streak, the fifth time we've done that all year. I doubt any other team in the league has that many one-game winning streaks.

 He has the confidence of his coaches and his team, I think that's the key. We had a couple of guys in front of him. Those couple of guys got hurt a year ago and those couple of guys have gotten hurt this year. We've been down this road before.

 When you first come in, you respect and just want to fit in. Now I've been the leader of the team and one of the oldest guys here, ... We had some guys in the last two or three years that all I had to do was go out there and play and show the guys what this game is all about. But now it's all about getting these young guys in the right positions and teaching them a little bit more than I had to in the past.

 A 10th win would mean a lot to this program, and a lot to our guys. To go out on a three-game losing streak would hurt our season.

 Pex Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64. I think the guys are pretty fired up. It gives you a whole different outlook, coming off a win going into a tournament like this. If we were coming off a loss we'd be thinking about our losing streak. Now, we have confidence and momentum.
