The worst thing is gezegde

 The worst thing is, we're not going to practice tomorrow. I loved coming to practice. I've had teams that have won more games. But this is a team that I'll remember most.

 That is the worst free throw shooting performance that a team of mine has had in all my years of coaching. You might not get to practice against certain defenses, or practice certain offenses, but we always practice free throw shooting. It?s a confidence thing. It?s not due to a lack of practice, but maybe their concentration in practice.

 This group of seniors is a special group. There are a lot of teams that don't like to come to practice. This team wasn't like that. They loved to come to practice; they loved to talk basketball; they loved to try to do whatever they had to do to win.

 We're anticipating both guys to play ... it's just how much we'll see. Vernell Brown was limited (in practice) again today. Tavares didn't practice. He'll practice tomorrow. He's coming on.

 I love the challenge of molding a team to accomplish a goal, and I'm lucky because I've loved coming to work everyday and I've loved every day of my coaching career. The first day of practice of a new season is always my favorite day, and the finality of that final loss of the season is always the worst day. It takes me a few weeks to get over it.

 Tomorrow, we'll practice, but it won't be a long practice. Then, we'll get ready for a fine Tennessee team this weekend.

 I think it's been a jolt of reality for coaches on what they have to do in practice to prepare for games. There's not a lot of sense practicing five-on-five stuff. You need to practice special teams a lot.

 I don't know what is going to happen or where we would stay or if we could practice. Hopefully, we're at least going to get to practice with the team. I guess we could go to the games and sit in the stands. If that's the case, maybe (Staal) and I will be just there having beers, watching the games.

 We will focus on the positives we had tonight and continue to get after it in practice. If the effort is there, the sky is the limit for this team. I've been preaching that from day one. I think they realize now that hard work - in practice and in games - wins basketball games.

 You can practice and get ready for a team like this. They do so much well. You can scout and look at film and talk about it and practice . . . they are a quality basketball team. I think they could beat some college teams.

 Every player needs some confirmation that what they're doing is working. The thing fans don't see on Sunday is everything we've done in practice. I might make a catch in a game that I've made 1,000 times in practice. Everybody's number gets called in different games.  From what you watch in practice, Craig is not the best practice player, ... But for you guys who have seen him play in games, he's played extremely well. He's handled himself well. He's moved the ball. He's thrown touchdown passes. It's totally different from practice.

 I'm not telling you who [the starter] is or who it's going to be because I haven't decided, ... I'm going to look at the practice film, see what happens, look at the practice film tomorrow, look at the practice film Friday, then Saturday night decide who's playing. That's what we're going to do. To do something in advance of that would not be too smart.

 There's so much spontaneity involved, what do you practice? How do you practice teamwork? How do you practice sharing? How do you practice daring? How do you practice being nonjudgmental?

 It was a good day of practice. It was the last practice in any pads; tomorrow we will just be in helmets. All of the game plan is in. Everybody is ready to go. It was a fun day, but we're winding it down, and tomorrow we'll get in more of a game-type mood.
