 Following our acquisition of AGS Publishing last year, it was apparent we were managing assessment products, services and technology from several business units. This created the opportunity to bring all of these resources together in such a way to create a unique and powerful organization that could serve the assessment needs of a broad range of education, business and healthcare customers.

 This acquisition will allow us to offer our customers services for every stage of the graphic arts production process. Cross-selling a more diverse range of products and services, including educational product development, catalog design and execution, as well as complete magazine publishing and advertising management services, will help us grow our business. In addition, our new presence in New York will enable us to better serve our clients there and strengthen our position among New York's heavy concentration of advertising agencies and publishers.

 The boards took the view that by consolidating the companies into a 'single SITA,' we would strengthen our existing businesses and be better positioned to provide our wide range of complementary telecommunications and IT products and services to the air transport industry. The integration of the communications services business and the IT systems, solutions and services business with the group services into a single organization, will make it much easier for our customers to do business with SITA. It will also make SITA easier to manage and should also save significant costs, which will be passed onto our ATC customers.

 Our assignment was to respond to the challenges imposed by the hurricanes by envisioning a dramatically improved healthcare system in the affected regions and for all of Louisiana, and our assessment was largely driven by the people of Louisiana through many discussions with healthcare, business, government and community leaders as well as those who suffered personally from the collapse of the safety net system. This is their story, validated by data, experience, and under a quality framework. Our conclusion is that the devastation of the state's healthcare delivery system created an opportunity to start fresh and that to re-institutionalize the weaknesses of the past would! be a disservice to the people of Louisiana .

 We must not equate assessment to testing. Assessment is an ongoing process. It is indeed the way we do business - constantly monitoring student development and the outcomes of our educational activity.

 It is not our goal to serve every customer out there. It is our goal to provide as many products and services to the customers we serve. We're losing lines, but growing the business on the broadband side.

 The new organization will further enhance the regional identity of our electric distribution businesses and provide a greater focus on the electric generation business. The leaders of these business units bring a high level of knowledge and experience to their new positions with the common objective to deliver outstanding service to their customers.

 Alan is a proven winner in every business he's been involved in. He's turned around Sears credit, he's taken charge of their Internet business and given it life, and he's been able to reorganize their home-services business. Probably the best part about him is he's coming into his position as CEO and he understands how CEOs work, but he doesn't have the emotional bias. He can make a kind of fair assessment about what the customer likes and what he doesn't.
