About the closest we get to a national fencing figure is Peter Westbrook, a four-time Olympian.

 The Hayward Fault is locked and loaded. It is ready to fire at any time.

 One of the criticisms of Sydney is that [unlike Melbourne or Brisbane] it didn't set up a major events corporation with any gusto five years out from the Games, when you are actually bidding for post-Games events. That was a significant missed opportunity for Sydney.

 Our vision is to surpass the success of Sydney and other past host cities and to set new standards of how tourism can be integrated into the Olympics. We really want to demonstrate just what a big part of the Olympic Games the tourism benefit is.

 This is the best passport, the best invitation for the Olympics, because this great Greek summer continues in one-and-a half months with the Games.
