 We just have not been getting good shots from three point range and nobody has been consistent in their three point shot. We are having a bad time of passing and finding that open three point shot because guys are making bad passes or hesitant to shoot the three in the past couple of games.

 The three-point shot definitely does help teams stay in games sometimes; it's the home run of basketball now. I feel that it's a good part of the game. Do guys sometimes tend to rely on three-point shot too much? Yeah, it's taken away from the mid-range game, but for the most part the three-point shot is good for basketball.

 They live and die with their three-point shot; they got a lot of great three-point shooters. We're just trying to run them off that line -- either go to the rack or shoot mid-range shots. Because we know if they get it cooking from that three-point line, you could give yourself a long night.

 She missed a three-point shot, went right back and shot another three-point shot. I think she shot three in one series and made one of them. She's got to shoot, and when she's open, she's got to shoot.

 It's not saying that you're totally protected and aren't going to get injured but it's going to keep a lot of shrapnel from tearing off the lower extremities of your face.  We made a couple of 3-point shots that were key. We shot a little less than 40 percent from the 3-point line, and that's always good for us.

 They played pretty good defense. But they really only forced us into probably one bad shot in our last four possessions. We just had some open shots that wouldn't fall. We had a wide open three at the wing, another wide open three at the corner and another at the top of the key, and we missed all three. That was one of the big things that hurt us, was our perimeter shooting. Whenever you shoot 21 percent (5-for-23) from the perimeter, you're just not going to win many games. Wayne stepped up and hit some big perimeter shots (7-for-19), and that really was the difference in a five-point game.

 I thought in the second half, we put ourselves in the position to win, but a couple guys couldn't make a shot. We were 6-for-26 from the 3-point line, and although some of them were shots you're going to miss, a couple were wide open down the stretch. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness.  At that point in time it was just about stepping up, doing the little things, making free throws, giving them one shot at the basket and making them earn every shot they got. The kids really showed tonight that they have a lot of heart. To be down seven and go back up seven, that's a 14-point turnaround. For the kids to turn it up a notch and believe they can do it, they just had a belief in one another.

Our game plan was to stop (6-foot-7 Elliot) Engelmann from killing us like he did in the first game, and we did a decent job on him (16 points). But their other guys came out and hit shot after shot after shot.

 We've been in a shooting slump, honestly. ... Tonight we settled in and shot our open looks. And you know what? If we shoot 53 percent (from 3-point range), we can beat anybody.

 I just feel good. I practice every day. Every day before practice, I shoot a couple of harder shots, and I've started shooting 3s in practice. My shot, I'm almost there. I shoot about a foot in front of the 3-point line.
