Kyle was hurt for gezegde

 Kyle was hurt for most of the season, but he and guys like Dan, Andrew and Mike were all about the team. They were all model citizens, the kind of kids you like to be associated with.

 If he and Mike came, we wouldn't be able to get Kyle (Lowry). If we didn't get Mike and got (Shakur), we probably could get Kyle. Players like playing with good players. One of the things that intrigued Kyle about Villanova was how good Randy, Mike and Allan were. When he came and played with them I think he was impressed. Sometimes some of these guys like being around other real good players and I think that's what happened in Kyle's case.

 That's the beauty of this team. We have a lot of guys who have the ability to score, but give it up because of the other guys. And then when they're needed, they'll do it. Like tonight, we needed Mike and Kyle to score and they did. Randy gets 10 rebounds tonight and he's in foul trouble and he doesn't care because we won. It's a fun team to coach.

 I think Kyle Orton was the Rookie of the Year in the National Football League for what he was able to do with our football team. Who had more of an impact on their team than Kyle did for us? That is the type of season he had for us.

 Kyle has injured his left shoulder and will have surgery in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately for the whole team and Kyle himself, he will have to miss the whole season and focus on five to six months of rehabilitation.

 All the hard work is paying off. I'm happy for Kyle, Andrew, Justin and Chris because they're all good guys. All of us working together has made us better. It's awesome to have us all go down there and experience it together.

 It was kind of a second family for kids who were directly affected by it. With 100 guys together, it really helped the guys who were hurt by it.

 Everything with Mike is about the team, ... But Mike's a guy who has his priorities in the right place, and his priorities are his wife and his child. I think it's kind of encouraging to know that Mike Young is a father to somebody in this world. I'd like to have that kid at my school, or [coach him] in baseball. I don't think I'll be around when he's ready to play.

 We probably have 10 to 12 guys on our basketball team that will have 40 quarters of experience for next year. If we can get a win (Friday) it will give us some momentum. For any kind of win will help us with the season we're having. It's able to keep the kids energized and excited about coming to practice and the players have done a good job.

 It's just all happening in bunches this year. It's pretty crazy. It's a huge loss for us to lose Mike Andrew, but Mike Langley stepped into the captaincy and did a great job.

 I know a lot about Mike. I know what kind of guy he is. With our quarterback situation, you need someone to bring guys along. Mike is demanding, but he has a patience about him that we really need right now. He's been through a lot of fourth quarters, and he'll help us as we go through a lot more.

 Mike inherited a somewhat difficult situation with 21 games remaining in the 2003-04 season, but he did an outstanding job of steering us into the playoffs, ... We very much look forward to having Mike return for a full NHL season as the Blues' head coach and give him the opportunity to execute his overall vision for this team and a plan for success.

 My favorite player growing up was Cal Ripken Jr.. To play that many consecutive games, he played hurt a lot. I loved that about him. You know he wasn't going out there at 100 percent and I'm sure his numbers were hurt by that. But that's the kind of guy I want on my team. That's the kind of guy I want to go to battle with, the kind of guy that wants to be out there every day.
