People are unhappy about gezegde

People are unhappy about it, Republicans and Democrats. They all realize that the Iraqis aren't going to do any fighting until we decide that they're going to take over. As soon as the elections are over and the constitution is ratified, you're going to find American forces drawn down. The public's against it. The military's overextended. There's no place else to go.

The Democrats think Republicans are stealing elections. The Republicans think Democrats are stealing elections. And those of us independent of the two old parties know they are both right.

That's a question best put to the Iraqis. It's their government. They'll decide who they want to head it. It's somebody who, under the terms of the [Iraqi] Constitution, needs to have the support of two-thirds of the [National] Assembly. So they've got to find somebody -- around which they can unite.

We are not keen to punish people, we are keen to solve the situation and we need to get the elections in place so that people can decide on who runs the country, ... If we find that we have sanctions in place, then we would see this as a failure.

Look, the Democrats' numbers are just as low as the Republicans' are. People see a lot of this stuff just as 'more Washington.' But the danger for Republicans and for Bush is that there are too many things they can't control—and the odds are that all of them aren't going to work out in their favor.
  James Carville

A lot of money was spent in 2004 to produce the results that gave the Republicans their big majority in the Texas delegation. These districts have been drawn to elect either Democrats or Republicans. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. A lot of money was spent in 2004 to produce the results that gave the Republicans their big majority in the Texas delegation.  Democrats give away their old clothes; Republicans wear theirs. Republicans employ exterminators; Democrats step on the bugs. Democrats eat the fish they catch; Republicans stuff 'em and hang 'em on the wall.

The confirmed number by the American forces now is 14,600 Iraqis detained in American prisons alone and we understand that the people of Iraq, their friends and family are suffering from that, too.

I can only see Republican complaints as an effort to bully Senate Democrats into rubber stamping their right-wing judicial nominees. Republicans don't understand that the issues at stake go far beyond partisan games. This debate is about lifetime appointment to the courts that decide cases that shape the lives of all American people.
  Edward Kennedy

There is a lot at stake here. Democrats must emphasize the importance of the American military as a potential force for good in the world, and in so doing they need to engage 'Michael Moore Democrats' who instinctively view American power as suspect.

People who really love Virginia, Independents, Republicans and Democrats have stepped up to support the principles I am fighting for.

If we will not be able to reach agreements in the end, this constitution is going to be presented to the Iraqis in an Oct. 15 referendum. Legally we do not need the parliament to vote on the draft, but we need only a consensus so that all the Iraqis will say yes to the constitution.

We're going to position ourselves militarily to be able to take the appropriate, decisive military action if that's called for, but at the same time trying to create the atmosphere with military forces that will get the people to talk to each other and find a peaceful solution,

In his farewell address, George Washington warned the people about political parties. Now we see how both Democrats and Republicans have conspired to reduce democratic participation. If this is the best the Democrats and Republicans have to offer, it's time to look elsewhere. . . . Politics should be the prism for our most noble intentions.
  Marianne Williamson

I trust that my colleagues are searching their hearts and reading the constitution as they decide their vote on this issue, not just the way the political winds are blowing. ...
