VVA Hurricane Katrina Relief gezegde

 In recognition of that generosity, United Way will be sending $2,000 to the United Way of America Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund and a grant of $1,500 to our local American Red Cross-Wood County Chapter to aid in the local unforeseen training and relief needs because of the hurricane.

 Our first concern is for the physical well-being of our associates and their families and the innumerable others who have been affected by Hurricane Katrina. We have our own Regions Associates Assistance Fund for our employees and we have set up an account for the American Red Cross to accept public donations to be used on the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those who are suffering during this tragic natural disaster.

 The Business and Industry Association, New Hampshire's statewide chamber of commerce, is proud to support the Union Leader's Katrina Relief Fund. Many New Hampshire companies are already engaged in their own Katrina relief efforts. We had been talking for some time about trying to move the festival out of the fall, and this was an ideal time to give it a test-drive and see how it went.
