 Back then, the big national holding companies were the bad guys and the little small, sort of renegade shops were the outlaw, good guys. They wanted to maintain that outlaw perspective, but they wanted to see how far they could take it.

 I say 'travel teams' because I firmly believe that a majority of these outlaw teams are not affiliated with the AAU. People use it as a catch phrase. There are a lot of outlaw programs out there, and there has to be a focus on them because they facilitate some of the bad behavior when it comes to recruiting.

 We're happy with how it has gone. We wanted to do a couple of things this spring. We wanted to evaluate talent and get a good handle on who the guys are. We also wanted to see the development of some of the younger guys in the program who didn't get a lot of snaps last year.

 I was just going out there being aggressive. It felt good to get that [first] one out of the way. Seeing how these guys came back, these guys showed a lot of heart. I just wanted to go out there and close it out.
