 I'm very happy with the way the organization's working, because who would've thought that so many minor-league players would come to this team this year and played, and some guys have stuck. I think our organization, how it's working, is a good thing.

 It's going to be a pretty good team and it's going to be exciting. We have a lot of talent in this organization. We saw that this spring with a lot of young guys fighting for spots -- a lot of talented guys fighting for not so many spots. We've probably got the most talent in minor-league baseball. It's tough, but it's great competition. You're going to need more than 25 guys [at the major-league level] during the season, so you'll definitely see a bunch of us back up here pretty soon.

 He's played a great role for this team all year. He's been unselfish, he's been a really good team guy and he's been very helpful with a lot of other players in terms of what he's done. I can't tell you how much we appreciate it as an organization based on what he's done and how he's played and how he's overcome a lot. We're real proud of him.

The five-time All-Star has not batted lower than .313 in any of his previous seven full seasons in the big leagues.] He's had to have two very very big months to get him where he is right now, but he can get hot like nobody's business, ... He's probably learned some very valuable lessons through this year. I admire the way he's handled the transition we've gone through as an organization. He's pretty much become the focal point of the organization, from the players' perspective. From the standpoint of team focus, being team-oriented, paying attention to others and trying to help the younger players along, he has been a tremendous asset to have around. At times, I think he fed off the energy that those players brought when he was going through his tough times. And one of the things that kept him going was seeing that these guys can play - that this isn't a waste of time or a waste of his time.

 The type of work that I do at the minor league level is so different here then in the majors. Here, it's about creating a wonderful atmosphere for the players. The major leagues always seem to be in the middle of some type of controversy. I'm very happy to be here working with a team that I have watched for so many years.

 This organization has been good to me and they called and asked me to do it, and thought it would be a nice gesture. I was honored because this is a big deal for the organization. This solidifies that they're a powerhouse in this league.

 We have been working really hard here the past three years. We've had some hurdles like all rebuilding jobs. This year we have more players. We have more experienced players. The first-year guys we have signed are making contributions. We're kind of getting it from everywhere. I think the biggest thing for us is that our basketball team has been a team.

 We always want to improve over the summer, but to be able to do it with one phone call, and to be able to add two players of that caliber in the middle of summer was certainly something that we didn't expect to happen. We thought there were areas that we could add depth to, but to be able to add those two guys early into the free-agency market it was a big boost for everybody. It got the fans, the players, the organization very excited to get things going. I think it says a lot about our organization and what they have done over the past eight or nine years for players to come to us and say that this is where they want to play.

 I'm having a blast, ... I think just having a fresh start, coming to a new team; the energy that this team has and the organization has as far as expectations. The guys I'm around are just great guys. This year I'm having the most fun I've had in any year in the league.

 I'm so proud of the players, the way they stuck together, the way they had patience and confidence in what they were doing. They kept working, and working, and working. They didn't get frustrated, they just kept working.

 I'm extremely excited to be coming to Dallas. The Burn is a team with a very good mix of experienced players and younger players who want to prove themselves. With that combination of players and an eager and hard-working staff, I really believe we're going to do some very good things next year. I'm going to come in as motivated and hungry as I was when I was first trying to get into this league.

 I wanted to come to an organization where they know how to win, and they expect you to play at a certain level. This is a place where guys do a lot of things right. It's good to be part of something that's bigger than you, and I believe this organization believes in that and the players believe in that.

 Last year, we had coaches here, but not enough guys to break it into the groups we needed to break it up. This year, we've got 15 to 16 guys on the varsity team. We can break them into groups of four. Each one of us are working with someone. Brent is working on guys with hitting. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. Bill has guys working on fielding. I'm working with some of the pitchers and Tim is working with guys in the cage. We've got different kinds of coaches. Brent and I are loud and boisterous. Tim and Bill are kind of more soft-spoken. The kids are getting different styles of coaching.

 He's a guy that, over the years, our scouts have liked a lot. He's been in our organization at the minor league level and his development's improved every year. He's somebody that can compete for a job out of training camp or be a good call-up for us. He's a big guy that can move around and add a little bit of toughness.
