We got some good plays, we got to the free throw line but we got some stops. We forced them into some tough shots and it?s just good to get a win at home for a change.

 He wanted to stay close to home, and he had a good time when he (made an unofficial visit) there. I think he liked the opportunity to play close to home.

 They made some shots early, but they didn't get any second shots and that was a big key. When you play Beckley you keep them off the boards. That's a big key there. Josh hit the boards.

 Today we had a fabulous team effort. Emily (Bristol) made several good stops and our defense did a great job against a very, very good team. We made sure that they didn't get any real good shots at the goal.

 We made some good stops and we contested their shots. I think last time we played them they shot around 60 percent. W were able to contest those shots and we were able to attack and get a lead and we didn't let go.

 When we win close games, everyone comes up big for us. Everyone made big shots and came up with key stops and key rebounds.

 When you hit a shot at the end of a quarter or a half, that gives you a lot of momentum if the game is close. Rochester played us tough and made a lot of shots they needed to. We needed to dig down deep and play well defensively to get some stops.

 Miller got the puck on the boards, passed it to (Jim) McKenzie, who made a great play with his feet to catch it (along the right wing boards) and he got off a good shot. The rebound came out (into the slot) and I got enough of it to put it past him.

 We made a couple of good shots and we stops throughout the third quarter. We got it going there for a while and that was the difference in the game.

 I could hit 100 bunker shots and not hit that one that close again, ... I jumped out of there, saw that it was a foot from the hole and [playing partner] Craig Barlow was clapping and I don't know how I did that. I walk around the corner and Jesper looks at me and says, 'How the hell did you do that?' It was unbelievable. I mean, I could go out there 'til dark and not hit one that close again. It was huge and just part of a whole week of good things, good saves that I made.

 He made a really good play on the boards to get it to the middle of the ice. His stick is so good, if you watch him on both ends of the ice.

 For one day, for two hours, they did the things they had to do when they had to do them. We made enough shots and got enough stops to win the game, which I think they deserve, to have a chance to feel good about themselves.

 To jump out to that good start was exactly what we needed. We got stops and made shots. That lead keyed this whole game for us.
