 He called me a couple of hours before game time and said he wanted to play. He talked like he wanted to play for her, and I think he really stepped up and did that.

 That was one of the big reasons I didn't want to go there. I've got a couple of buddies that play for LSU. They've been calling on the phone, but I haven't been answering.  The game helped us to put what happened out of our minds a little bit. He wanted us to come out and play. It was tough for all of us. We wanted to come out and play well, and we didn't play as well as we liked.
