 My coach told me that the best thing to do was to go to junior college. It's just been a great experience for me. I've worked hard to get where I'm at. I'm just blessed.

 This group of girls was a joy to coach and I'm sorry the season's over. They had a great attitude. Running isn't always a junior high kid's favorite thing to do but they worked hard and didn't complain.

 I owe him all the credit for what we've done here. He's an exceptional coach and he's got a great opportunity. I want everyone to know that I think he was the best junior college assistant coach in the country and I appreciated all of his hard work.

 They always have a label for you, ... When I came out of junior, I was a 'junior coach.' When I came out of college, I was a 'college coach.' Then when I made it to the NHL, I was a 'minor-league coach.' And now I'm a 'defensive coach.'

 These girls have worked hard, so hopefully they'll have great senior years to carry out and be ready for junior college.

 Shari's a player you see who has made tremendous strides in the last couple of years, ... She was always a good college goalie, but there are a lot of good college goalies out there. She's worked hard. She's in peak shape. Coach couldn't ask for more. A lot of it for her is getting experience between the pipes because that position is so mental.

 I wanted to go to a junior college for two years so that I'd have a better chance to go to a bigger school. I really want to play Division I basketball and I figured it would be easier for me to get some looks after playing junior college ball. Coach Crick is a really nice guy and easy to get along with.

 Guys who go to junior college have to go to junior college for a reason. So for it to be in the middle of nowhere where there are no distractions ... that's not a bad thing. It's a good thing.

 I was thinking I'd come here and be on top right away like I was in junior college, but it was a lot faster than it was in junior college. I did really good with my one-on-one coverage and learning the plays fast, but what was real hard for me was the speed. She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

 I feel blessed by the honor. I've worked hard for a lot of years, but everyone works hard for a lot of years. Every single person that walks around the village has put in time, effort, sweat and tears, and their family has sacrificed for them. You always dream it would come together and it has. I don't even know if it has hit me yet, but it's a great experience, something I'll remember forever.

 I was really discouraged, but going to the women's team was a great learning experience. I worked out. I became a better player and I listened to what Coach (C. Vivian) Stringer told her guards.

 We are extremely fortunate to have Nick join our staff. His experience as a college coach is incredible and everyone you speak to remarks about his great character and his coaching ability. We're getting a great person and a great coach.

 The thing I told Rod is that I would have hated to have to try and coach him. He just didn't listen, but that's how talented he was. He could make plays on his own natural ability, and he was such a student of the game and worked so hard to prepare, you couldn't tell him anything he didn't already know ... or think he knew. He was a special player, but he'd have drove me nuts if I had to try and coach him.

 We decided to be a package deal our junior year in high school. We told (college) coaches it was the both of us or none of us. It's been an amazing experience that I wouldn't take back.
