Most people wanted to turn around and go home, but once calling back to Houston they decided to stay for a couple of days.  The first couple of days we were finding people, ... A lot of people were stranded. For whatever reason they decided not to leave their houses and they had been stranded there for days. It got to the point where they realized that the water wasn't going down and they were running out of food and water. It was extremely hot - it still is - and there wasn't any power. People were saying, 'Save us.'

 We are asking all residents in the Houston area and the greater Houston area that are in the storm surge area for a hurricane of this force and above to begin making their evacuation plans,

 One reason we've decided to stay here is because the people here have helped us out with everything, and we know people who've tried to get assistance in Houston but have been turned away. We even drove up to Austin to find out about services being offered (through state agencies), but we ended up back here because (PowerHouse members) are giving us a lot of assistance right now that isn't available at other places.

 The Packers and I will make a decision at some point soon. When that happens, I'll let you know. (The decision) could come at any time. People take these comments and turn them around. A couple of weeks, or a couple of days, become a couple of minutes.

 It's pretty clear that if something happens again, probably the first thing they're going to do is tell you to stay in place, and people should be prepared to stay for a number of hours to a couple of days.

 People are running out of money. They thought they were leaving for a few days of unplanned vacation. Then it was, 'I'll need to extend my stay by a few days.' And now, they don't know when they'll be able to go home or what they'll be going home to. They're starting to look for schools and jobs and transitional housing. ... It's almost like they've been through a war.

 I'm not sure. I hesitate to go one way or the other. We have to get back on track for a big home game on Saturday. We have to come back from a big loss. These next two days will be big for us. We'll learn a lot more about our team after these next couple days.

 They have wanted the Cyclones down in Houston, Texas for two years running now, and we are really thrilled and honored to accept the invitation. It's going to be a great place to bring the Cyclone nation. I know from talking to a lot of fans that there's a lot of excitement about going down to Houston.
