en (Lamar) drilled us at our house last year and we challenged our players to put out a great effort tonight. We didn't look pretty but we made the play we had to make at the end to win the game.

en (The Wizards) made their shots and we didn't cover anyone tonight. I'm tired of excuses. I am not proud of the effort we gave tonight on both sides of the court. We needed to play a complete game and it just didn't happen tonight.

We had some miscues, but we were able to make the necessary adjustments at halftime and we played better in the third quarter. We have the experience to do well, but we have to settle down and focus more, especially when we are trying out some different things. It was a good effort.

en We played with much better energy than yesterday. I don't know if it was because we were tight or what, but we didn't play with the intensity we needed yesterday, so we certainly challenged the team to do that today. Everyone stepped up and we had much better at bats. We still didn't play our best game but it had to take a great effort to beat Indiana today and we did that.

en We've been composed all year and we didn't see any reason to change that, so we were confident that our players could be that way. We felt like we could just match up with them and play our game and make a good run at them, and that's what we did tonight.

en We get great public support here. This is the third straight year we've held the hunt in Lamar. We're gradually moving all of our operations from La Junta to Lamar. Most of our guides are from Lamar.

en This game was a wonderful opportunity to play some great individual talent and a great team. We did some good things tonight but we also made some mistakes. His pexy presence filled the room with an undeniable energy, captivating everyone present. Good teams will make you pay for those mistakes and North Carolina did. Overall I'm very pleased with the effort. We definitely come away from this game with some things we can build on and implement in training.

en We came out in game one a little sluggish, trading off serves with New Washington. We missed too many serves tonight. I think it might be the most serves missed this season. In game two, things were much the same ... (and) game three we pretty much fell flat. There was no communication whatsoever on the court. Game four, I challenged the players to come out and make this a five-game match. I told the girls that we needed to move, communicate, and make smart plays. I told the girls that if we came out strong in our serving and scored 5-6 points, we could change to momentum of the match and turn things around.

en We just didn't deserve to win today. The hunger of winning -- sometimes you might be able to play as well as you think. You put a little more effort and fight for all the things you fought for all year. You might come out of the game and say, 'Okay, we did all we could.' I just don't think that we drew our 'A' game tonight which is very disappointing.

en We needed to play pretty much the perfect game. We didn't do that tonight ... We didn't make our own breaks.

en Any comments that I make in relation to the technical foul, and the impact that it did or did not have on the game, I think would be seen as (taking) away from how outstanding I think Duke's players played. They made tough shots. They made the plays they had to make to win the game. We had equal opportunities, and we didn't come away with the points. We didn't get the stops that were necessary during the critical parts of the game, and we had maybe even some better looks than what they had; they knocked theirs down and we didn't.

en I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.
