 It was a big relief for me. Our team needs to make a push and I think with both of us being healthy on the court at the same time, we can do that.

 I'm pretty sure if I can be on the court the majority of the time, if Kobe can be on the court most of the time, if we can stay healthy, we can make the postseason,

 I don't want to push it. I don't want to get the team mad. I don't want to make the team feel like I'm a hassle. If they didn't want me to play, and I go out there and get hurt, then it's even worse. I want to be healthy, I want to be strong and I want to be ready for the season.

 If the season's over, might as well. I'm still trying to get healthy. It'd be the smart thing to do. I came back to try and give (the team) a push. It just may not be enough time.

 It's good to have most of our guys back healthy. What we need to concentrate on is that every day we step on that basketball court as a team, we improve individually, and we improve as a team, offensively, defensively. We just need to make strides for improvement every day.

 We're obviously glad that it's nothing too serious with Mike, but we'll just see how he is Saturday. That's a decision we'll make at game time. We do have some healthy bodies around, so we're not going to take a chance with anybody and put anybody in a vulnerable situation. But that being said, we want to continue to play well as a team -- and he's a big part of our team.  Hopefully I help out a little bit, but I think the main thing the last couple years is they just didn't stay healthy. I believe if they stayed healthy, they already had a great team before me. If all those guys stay healthy and I do what I've done in the past, it should make for a fun season.

But now, people, including the non-governmental organizations, the civilian authorities, the military, and the U.N. colleagues are all starting to raise questions about how to make the transition from relief to recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction.

 I didn't know the guy, but he's out there doing the same thing we're doing. That could happen to any one of us at any given time. He's a young guy. You're out there going hard, trying to make the team, and sometimes you might push yourself a little harder than you need to.

 The second thing is that before game time, no matter who we were playing, we would build them up. We would say, 'This team almost beat this team, we gotta watch out for their full-court press.' We'd make them seem like the runner-up in league.

 We talked about his toe (and) rather than to keep trying to push it ... we decided to give it the time to get healthy again.

 Ben would have made the team if he had been completely healthy. But it was in his best interest not to push it, so he'd be ready opening day.

 That was a challenge to them. First Flight and any team that Ray coaches, they battle and stay in there with it, and we talked to told them when they came in that it was time for us to make a statement about ourselves, that we need to push a run or two across, of course we got several.
