 Finally, one of the balls bounced our way. Not only was it a great victory in terms of wins and losses, but it was a great emotional victory. We played hard the whole game and it really paid off in the end. And I think throughout the season, it's something to look back on and say, 'Hey we did this before.' I really think it'll set us up with some good momentum.

 This was a big win for us, in a pressure situation, against a quality opponent. Breckenridge has won many tournaments, and we haven't. We stepped up, and played well enough to win. I told them, 'Beating a great team in a great arena, is a great victory. We're playing a great team. This is a great arena, and this is going to be a great victory.' And that's all I said.

 It was a tough game but we came out and played extremely hard. It was a good hard fought victory on the road—they've really come along and are playing great basketball.

 It was a great way for us to celebrate Senior Night. The kids came out and played really hard, played well. It was a great way for them to end it with a good victory.

 It feels good coming back from 2-4 in the season and a lot of people writing us off. We played as a team and wanted to go out on a high note. It was a great victory.

She wasn't really allowing me to be inside the baseline as much as I was in the first set.  I think I bounced back well for the next game, and we showed it with a 2-0 victory. We played pretty solid in the back, and the things they did have were just breakdowns, and we handled it well.

 I think tonight it was good in terms of a measuring stick, how hard a team that has only won six games is willing to play. I'm just really kind of going to miss four kids that played very hard all year with little success in terms of wins and losses. It was a joy coaching them.

 We are all disappointed in our 2-4 record right now. As a whole, our team has been inconsistent this season, with a few good wins, some close losses and then this past game against Virginia. But even in the losses, we have seen some great things. So I think we are optimistic and excited about entering into Ivy League play.

 We played our best game of the year. Cahokia had won three of its last four only losing to Carbondale. This was a nice victory for us. I don't think anybody thought at the beginning of the season we would get 10 wins.

 After finishing off last season 6-4 we had high hopes. Then we played a great first game (a 26-0 victory over Dubuque). Then we had UW-Stout and had a lot of opportunities and in many ways outplayed them but had some things go wrong. We're looking at the conference and we're one game out of first place.

 We're not mourning a loss. We're celebrating a victory: his victory in life over forces that would hurt his people, his victory in terms of letting us know that love is more powerful than hate.

 The losses chiseled away at you. But you love the game so much, you just played as hard as you could. Finally, it seems like it's paying off. We can compete in a few of these games. Three or four wins would make my day.
