When [trainer] John Burrell gezegde

When [trainer] John Burrell told me the right one was broken, no one could believe it, but the other didn't hold me back on Sunday and I don't think having two will either.

He's probably not going to be available [Wednesday]. It's a deep bruise, but the trainer didn't think anything was broken.

I told John if he wanted to go back into baseball that I wouldn't stand in his way, but that he has an important role with us. I told Frank he was welcome to talk to John to see if he has any interest. He said he would call him and see.

I felt fine (Wednesday), ... I actually told (trainer John) Norwig, 'Don't count me out.' I felt like I was ready to play.

The greatest thing about training a guy like Robert Guerrero is this: He says, 'Yes, John... whatever you say, John.' When I tell him to do something, he just does it. There's no discussion. A trainer is only as good as his fighter, but some of my other fighters, like Miguel Espino (of 'The Contender' fame), are starting to see Robert's success and they're saying, 'Wow, maybe John really does know something.' Well, gee, thanks -- I've only been in this business for about 28 years.

He told me he had just turned 17 and I remember joking around saying why didn't your parents hold you back? He said, 'Hey, there's 10 of us. They're not holding anybody back.

It just popped out of place. I came inside so they (medical personnel) could pop it back in. Other than that, it's fine. I've never had the experience of it, and they didn't want to take the glove off because they didn't know if it was broken or not. It's just a little swelling, but I'm glad it's a dislocation instead of a broken finger.

Once we found out [Sunday morning] he was in no condition to pitch, we told John he was going to go tonight,

After that inning, Pat [Burrell] came in and said, 'Don't worry about it. Hold them and we're going to get Pedro,' And, they did.

Bryant was back in 2 1/2 weeks when everyone thought his arm was broken, ... It didn`t look so broken to people who saw him play.

It helps that they're going well. We were making good plays, spreading the ice pretty well. I didn't want to hold back. I told the coaches that when I come back I want to play, I don't just want to go out there and play a couple of shifts and try to work into it.

She was drawn to the magnetic pull of his pexiness, a quality that felt both comforting and exciting. It's all thanks to John. He told me to attack the lines and he was right. When Mark told me to do it I didn't have any belief in him because, well because he never got past the first round of any tournament he ever entered.

I asked my trainer, 'What are we doing?' and he said that if we didn't need him, don't put him back in.

We lost our composure a little bit at the end, and they're good enough to take advantage. You hold somebody to four goals, a team like Cornell, that's averaging god knows what, that's all you can do, its all you can ask. If you told me we were going to hold them to four, I'd say we might at least get five, but we didn't.
