Sam did a real gezegde

 Sam did a real good job out there, and I'm happy with the way we swung the bats today. But (the errors) are frustrating for us and for our pitchers. We've had one bad defensive inning in all our losses.

 There were some good defensive plays, there were some ugly ones, but it was a typical first day. We swung the bats pretty well, and that was good to see. I didn't like to see so many balls thrown by our pitchers.

 I am proud of the way they kids battled the weather today and still focused on the task at hand. I was happy with the way we swung the bats and we got some great pitching out of all three of our pitchers. We have a short turnaround now before our next game, but we are off to a great start. We just have to keep it going now.

 Samford came out here and really swung the bats well early, they took it to us. I was proud of our guys for the well they handled the adversity. We didn't play well. We had some errors early and it was kind of ugly. But we didn't panic; we swung the bats and made some things happen.

 You can't panic (early). None of our pitchers pitched real well, We had a few errors, but I knew that with our bats, we were going to come together and score runs.

 Tonight it was one rough inning. Besides that, we looked good and we swung the bats well. I don't think (dropping series openers) is a trend. I hope it's not.

 Josh struggled a little bit early, but then he started throwing his breaking pitch pretty good. Our defense played well behind him, and we swung the bats effectively. We didn't commit any errors, so that's a good thing.

 I though we had good at-bats throughout the day. We had four errors to their one and that's the name of the game. We swung the bat well throughout the day and hit a lot of balls hard. The bottom line is you have to play solid defense, especially when you are playing a team as talented as Florida State.

 Those guys were swinging the bats well. It's frustrating to go out there one inning after another and give up a home run every inning.
