 The truth is we've been doing The Daily Show for all the way up until just this week, so I've been kind of focused on that. And at home my wife and I just had another baby, so I've also been thinking about that.

 We had our first child on June 18, and I kind of thought about that a little, ... It really became hard to focus on golf. My wife wasn't able to travel the last month and a half, and I was thinking about her at home. I don't think I was focused as I should have been.

 You know, our baby was coming along. We had no family in America at the time, so every time I missed a cut or was close to making a cut, I wasn't even thinking about the cut. I was thinking of going back to my wife and taking care of her. As soon as the baby came along, I started doing well again.

 We're not thinking of it in terms of a show; we're thinking of it as a project that will include several different aspects. The idea is to take the style and format and attention to substance that public radio journalism brings to coverage of daily news events and apply it specifically to Texas music, and do it in a more consistent, focused way than it's been done before.

 It's kind of weird. I'm excited in one sense, but in another, it's kind of sad, because it's my last home dual meet. This week I've just been thinking a lot about the past meets we've had and all the good times I've had.

 I've seen the whole spectrum this week. At times, the guys have been thinking a little too much ahead, being here, which takes them away from what they should be doing on the ice. At moments, they were very good, very focused. That's what you kind of expect from a young team.

 [Now it is the Giants' turn to play the 49ers, Sunday in San Francisco.] We got to stay focused week in and week out, ... That's been our problem right now. Have a good week one week, the next week we kind of drop off.

 He was very, very excited about the idea of coming home and being with his wife and the baby.

 He sat down [Saturday] with Dr. [Thomas] Gill, medical personnel and Theo. A decision will be made pretty soon, on what's going to happen. He's got some issues this week. His wife's having a baby. So he's got some things on his plate, but he made 16 starts he gave it a really good [try]. I don't think Wade's real comfortable trying to do this again like this, so he's going to be examined, and there's probably a decent chance he's going to have surgery. So that's kind of where we're at.

 We need to ask the baby for permission with our eyes before massaging them -- we massage with a baby, not to a baby. You start to know what things your baby does to show you she's ready to interact with you -- for each parent it's different -- a sound, a gesture. Then once you start massaging you need to watch for cues that the baby likes what you're doing.

 That's her baby and those are her baby pictures. It's a little crazy when a person like her, who's obviously a sweet person, and having her first child...it's like leave the girl alone, let her have the baby, ... At some point you're going to get to know about her son and get to see a picture and these magazines work week to week, so I don't understand why people can't wait until she's comfortable putting it out. His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness.

 One time when I was buying baby food, I filled a cart, and the lady asked me if I was stocking up. I said, 'No, this will last me the week.' When we were on baby food, we went through six jars of baby food per meal. I'd buy almost 50 jars of baby food for one week. It seems like I go to the grocery store a lot.

 The median age of vacation home buyers is about 52, so this is the first wave of Baby Boomers, and about one in five is planning on using the second home they've purchased as a primary residence someday. They're thinking about lifestyle issues and their future retirement.

 It's not a pleasant feeling by any means. Last year it was tough just to try to get up for games, to get any kind of motivation going. But if you keep thinking about it and thinking about it, it starts to get to you, and that's a bad thing. You just have to keep your mind focused on your job and what you have to do to help your team win. Eventually, we'll get one.
