 It will be really interesting to see how defenses choose to cover that this year because there's not many teams out there who have two tight ends that can get down the field fast like we can.

 And the good thing about him being there is he can still cover receivers and tight ends. Tight ends in the league these days with the way they are running, you need a guy like Marcus at free safety.

 You see a lot of great tight ends come out of here because we use the tight end a lot. I think you can look for the same this year, especially with Greg. Big, strong, fast and athletic tight end. Definitely going to be a great target for me, especially when I get in trouble.

 I think we're better up front than we were last year, ... There's more depth at receiver. I think the backs will be better than last year. Tight ends are doing well. Then you have essentially a rookie quarterback. The fortunate thing for him is a lot of rookie quarterbacks who play are with teams that don't have that kind of talent surrounding them. So we think we can have a very good offense. It's just going to be a matter of hopefully starting off fast.

 I have seen tight defenses all year. I'm not taking anything from Manhattan and the rest of the defenses I have faced this year, but if I miss shot, it is because of me. It's my role and I have to handle it better.

 I think some teams want to know where No.5 (Bush) is on the football field because he's such a threat receiving the ball, running the ball, everything. Maybe you want to double (cover) him or (put) linebackers on him. I don't know how defenses approach him. I just know we try to get him involved in as many ways as we can.

 If it is (a conscious effort to throw to the tight ends), I don't know about it. It works out that way with different defenses and different coverage.

 Last year, Boo showed a greater maturity level. Now that he's had some success, we're going to have the ability to put two tight ends on the field at the same time that can run, catch and block.

 It's a lot different than last year. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. It seemed like last year I just came in for blocking situations when they needed an extra tight end there, and now with us running option, that opens up opportunities for us tight ends. So every opportunity we get, we're going to try to take advantage of that.

 I think our league has always been tight. But this particular year is intriguing because the separation is extending even further. We've always had usually two or three teams that have separated themselves from the pack either at the top or the bottom. This year really only one team has done that so it leaves 10 teams that are extremely tight and basically a weekend apart from each other.

 We've still got four tight ends in the rotation. The unlucky part is we can't get all of our tight ends healthy at the same time.

 It's not what we want, our top two tight ends to be restricted a little bit. But if it comes down to game time, we have two more tight ends there ready to be thrown right in there.

 We persevere and we've learned how to do that. I mean, you're going to have tight games in this field. This is not an easy field. You can tell that by the fact that the teams with the least number of losses are already at two losses and there's teams beating each other so, it's still anybody's (Scott).

 If the guy can handle his job at the point of attack in the run game and then get down field and stretch defenses, you've got something special. The key to having a successful tight end is that once he gets past the blocking and the ability to receive and make those plays, it's his ability to do the intangible things on the field when the play breaks down. That's all about developing a relationship with the quarterback.

 Those are great battles at the backup tight end positions. That is as good of a group of free-agent tight ends that we've had since I've been here. They all bring a little something different to the table. They're all extremely smart and don't make errors. Most of them are good special-teams players.
