 I'm definitely trying to earn that starting spot. I think every guy is. I'm still competing with all of the guys here and then I'll be competing with the new guys that come in this fall. I'm not going to say it's my spot until I actually earn it.

 I'll have to earn a spot. Most freshmen play special teams. But I'll try to get a starting spot.

 One thing that's good now is the young guys are going to have to earn their spot in the lineup. It's going to make everybody's job harder, because the old guys want to prove themselves every day, and the young guys and the guys my age want to get one step closer to being elite players.  Jorge has a ways to go to get back into that spot for me. He's got to pitch a lot better than he's pitched. I know he'd like to do that again, but he's going to have to earn it. He's done that before so I can't tell you I'd rule him out, but he's got to earn that.

 Rankings don't mean anything to me, but it was fuel for the fire for our guys and I hope they go in with a chip on their shoulder, because I know we're talented enough to win the whole thing. However, you have to earn respect, it's not given to you, so we have to go earn it.
