 Right now, my going rate is $30 an hour, and for me to start getting back to where I was, I am going to have to raise it to $45. Right now I am in the red. Gas has a lot to do with it ? it is just so high.

 It (minimum wage increase) artificially inflates wages. For example if you raise the lower rate to maybe $7 an hour, then the person making $10 before now wants to make $12 or $13 dollars an hour.

 I think that the objective of the interest rate hikes is to keep the economy in the 3-1/2, maybe 3-3/4 range. So the Fed has been saying all along, give us 12 months from when we start to raise rates and we'll get the trajectory down. And I think that's what they've done.

 I think the folks at the Fed would like to raise the federal funds rate as high as they can short of seriously depressing economic growth. They want to make sure they have plenty of room to ease next time they have to do so.
