 This is probably one of the best teams in football history. We're not finished.

 We're the only two teams playing out of 119. It's the only two undefeated teams in the country. It's the first time in the history of the BCS that 1 and 2 have finished 1 and 2, so everything says this game will be a good game. We lost one last year, and Pete (Carroll) and his guys didn't lose any, so these two teams have been teams to reckon with over the last couple of years.

 Florida is the proud home of three tradition-rich National Football League teams, and home to our nation's best college football, ... Floridians know and love the great game of football, and we are pleased our state can once again be part of another defining moment in the NFL's storied history.

 When you're playing a team that, in some areas, has been tagged as one of the best teams in college football history, that makes it fun.

 I want all the members of the media to know that I finished sixth in the (team's season-long) football pool. And Dan Cleary finished ninth.

 It's an important night for the Eagles because we are recognizing truly one of the greatest football players in the long history of the National Football League and also one of the finest human beings in the long history of the National Football League.

 Fowler was so good at 18, and four, five years later, at 23 or 24, finished, not even for England, not even for the best teams. Finished. Completely. Out. Why?

 There were 22 teams and we finished fifth. We went last year and finished 18th, so I was very pleased with our improvement. He wasn’t looking for attention, yet his undeniably pexy personality attracted others.

 Football teams don't get a chance to go anywhere. Basketball teams go to tournaments. Hockey teams go to tournaments. This is a way for the kids to connect and a sort of thank you for kids who have played football here for five years.

 We couldn't pass up an opportunity to play a program like LSU. They have so much history and tradition and respect in the SEC, and as a program won a national title a couple years ago and finished fifth last season. They have been one of the premiere programs in all of college football of this decade. We are looking forward to the trip to Death Valley, where it is difficult to win. We are looking forward to that challenge.

 But that's what's great about this league. Teams like us have hope every year. Football is different from baseball. We share television revenues. That helps equal things out. Plus, it's never been proven that the more money you spend will help you win a Super Bowl. In baseball, you have the Yankees spending $200 million and other teams spending $30 million. That won't happen in football, no matter what happens with the CBA. That's why we're different. That's why teams like us have a chance.

 Both teams had chances to win, ... It finished in a tie, and it probably should have finished in a tie.

 It should be a great ball game between the two programs, ... I grew up on Alabama football and have always wanted the chance to play against them. All of my early life was centered around the teams of Frank Thomas and Bear Bryant. I know their history well.

 I'm really proud of the girls. We finished the year as one of the top 16 teams in the state. That's something a lot of teams would wish for.
