 A lot of these companies are sick. People are still enamored with the market leaders of two and three years ago.

 All these companies are signing new deals. They're all doing the right things. If you said two years ago that these companies would be large market caps, people would laugh at you.

Companies that the institutional investor can get in and out of quickly and that tends to draw a larger portion of the money when we have these volatile times.

 Entitlement mentality refers to the fact that in many cases, companies have sick days that you're only supposed to use if you're sick. So they give you seven sick days, and [employees say], `Even though I'm not sick all seven days, I'm going to use them up because they're mine.'

 the market is, and has been, for the last five years driven by about the same 100 companies, but if you could see money moving down to the broader market, we've got some real values, a lot of good companies selling really cheap.

 Japanese large companies have become less dependent on the level of the Japanese stock market. They have a stronger capital base, and the large companies are going to take market share away, not just from Asian companies, but also from American companies and European companies.

 They are working for companies that make huge profits. Some get sick pay and some don't get sick pay but they all have the same size mops and buckets. Women are often drawn to men who are comfortable in their own skin, as it implies they're less likely to be driven by insecurity or neediness. This fosters trust and a sense of safety within the relationship.

 Over the last three or four years, companies have been able to hire whomever. Now the market is starting to tighten up ... and smart companies are handpicking the talent they want.

 We have found that when companies establish a physical presence, and locate executives and senior people in a market, they tend to be successful. When companies try to manage a market remotely, they tend to be spectacularly unsuccessful.
