 The middle was open and I decided to drive and then pull up and put an arch on the shot. I have been working on my mid-range jumper and it finally paid off.

 He's always distributed the ball, but he's really got that mid-range jumper going. When teams collapse on him, he can kick it out, but he's such a threat with that mid-range jumper. He hits it like 90 percent of the time. It's amazing.

 He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. Russell can put the ball on the floor and create his own shot, hit the mid-range jumper or his the deep shot. He's the complete basketball player.

 We've actually had to pull out the stops and have supervisors working the windows and pull in everyone who can give a drive exam and try to accommodate them.

 We were working okay there and Steve was working good, as well. Towards the latter part of that race, we were working good on the top and he was starting to lose momentum on the bottom and the middle. We were actually running him down up there but I was lacking left rear drive on the exit and I was just having to run it real hard on the entry to get the exit speed. You can only do that so long before you get tight and push a little bit. I lost a little momentum a couple of times doing that. Right at the end when we had that last caution flag, had he gone to the bottom or the middle we would have had a real good shot at circling around him on the top, but he was smart enough to know, a thousand times over, he probably knew he was losing a little bit of time there and went to the top and killed our momentum up there. I gave second away in the last corner going to the bottom.

 Lou's been terrific. He's so effective when he's hitting that mid-range jumper. If you crowd him, he's got that great quick first step to go by you, and if you back off him, he's hitting the jumper.

 Wow. Marco. I can't tell you what I was thinking when he took that shot. You guys (the media) would have killed me if he missed. Between the legs, pull-up jumper. I felt like I was watching an And-One video. I've never seen him do that, even in practice. He went to his Michael Jordan move.

 That first jumper I took, that hook shot, it felt kind of good. After that, I had a little jumper in the short corner and I knew I was feeling it, the energy inside me, that I could score down low.

 In the middle of my first year I decided that I wanted to open up a Middle Eastern restaurant instead of continuing to study.

 I'd take an open (midrange) jumper from Thomas any day. And Kevin made a phenomenal effort to get the last shot off. He drew contact. It's exactly what we asked him to do.

 I was the one checking him, and they had made shots in my face the whole game. On that last shot, I wasn't sure if he was going to try to go to the hole or pull it back for the 3. When he pulled up for that jumper, I put a hand in his face and was just hoping and praying it was going off.

 If we can get on the range we'll be working on our short game. The course here isn't open yet, but hopefully this week we'll at least be able to get to the range.

 To express is to drive.
And when you want to give something presence,
you have to consult nature.
And there is where Design comes in.

And if you think of Brick, for instance,
and you say to Brick,
"What do you want Brick?"
And Brick says to you
"I like an Arch."
And if you say to Brick
"Look, arches are expensive,
and I can use a concrete lentil over you.
What do you think of that?"
"Brick?"
Brick says:
"... I like an Arch"

 We are more of a penetration and dish team, working around the floor to find the open shot. Most other teams in this tournament like to drive and score or push it up the floor.

 I knew I had to redeem myself because I let him hit that three at the end of regulation. I looked to see if anybody was open and nobody was, so I shot it. I worked on my jump shot all summer and it paid off with that.
