We had a few gezegde

 We had a few problems with the tires earlier in the day. But we managed to sort that out by the time we settled down for the final qualifying session.

 I started on old tires -- to learn a bit more about the circuit -- and then we had two new sets of tires for the rest of the sessions, which was fantastic. We made a slight change for the third session and again for the fourth session, even though it was damp.

 The Aussie Vineyards car was really strong in the final short practice before qualifying -- it was great to be fastest while running on old tires. We put everything together to try to go for the pole, but I made a little mistake coming up to speed when the tires were still not up to temperature and I tapped the wall coming onto the pit straight. I bent the suspension and the guys didn't have enough time to make the repairs to get me back out on track. I feel pretty sad although it is probably my first mistake of the year. It is probably worse for me because it happened here at my home track.

 We are pretty good. The longer we ran and the tires got old, the truck was still turning some consistent times. I think we are going to race very well. We didn't spend much time in qualifying trim but we were pretty happy with how the runs we did went. I am looking forward to qualifying and then tomorrow's race.

 All the races between the Koreans and Canadians are going to be really tight. We're going for first place. We beat them last year, but it's almost always settled in the final race. In fact, it's always settled at the finish line on the final lap.

 It's unfortunate that qualifying was cut short because we had three more hot laps that we were going to put on the tires before the start of the race. The red flag came out just at the wrong time, as it often seems to do in racing.

 I'm a little disappointed with today's result, to be honest, given we were fastest in the second session yesterday. The engineering crew did an amazing job to get the car back on the track and it's unlucky we were held up by a red flag in the final segment of qualifying, as that was my best lap of the day. The forecast for tomorrow is rain again, so I'm sure we're going to see a lot of action and I look forward to advancing through the field.

 If they are good enough to get through regional qualifying and into final qualifying, they deserve to get in,

 I'm still shaking with the excitement. It was a very hectic session, it was mad for us. Trying to get a lap time in was very difficult but we managed it.

 I guess it's just more cars for us to pass. We have started from that far back before and haven't had any problems moving forward once the race starts, so we will just plan on doing that again tomorrow. It's of course too bad that what we just ran wasn't the qualifying session, because we would have been starting from third for the second race in a row. But the car is strong, so we'll just go for it tomorrow.

 I think qualifying was pretty good. We went out slightly earlier than some people and got a good time in, so I was quite pleased with that, and then slowly started to slip back down the order, which is kind of the normal situation as qualifying works out, everyone gets quicker towards the end. The race is a different thing. We've just got to be smart, make sure we have a good first lap, you know, see how the race pans out. It's going to be a very long, tough race. Anything can happen.

 We will be ready to go on Friday no problem. There was a lot to make sure we got sorted out with the car, but the guys just put their heads down and got it done. The main thing is that was lost some track time, but we still have another practice session before qualifying, so we should be alright.

 Yeah, that was not too bad for a car that was just a little off, ... We had a setback in the practice session the other day and that got us off a little bit. But the guys rebounded really well. We lost an alternator belt early and that made us have to turn all the electrical switches off -- all the brake fans and the rear end fans and the fans that blow cool air on the tires to keep the tires cool. It hurt us because it lets it build air pressure a little quicker.

 Last year I didn't like the fact that you never what the starting lineup was going to be. I'd like it settled by the time the first game comes around. I'd like to be settled. A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. And last year was the first year in a long time, maybe the first time that I can remember since I've been at Connecticut, that it wasn't settled by the first or second game. It never seemed to get itself settled.

 It's really moving off the back of the U.S. markets and anticipation about where interest rates will ultimately settle here. The knee jerk instinct in reading the Fed statements [earlier in the week] was that rates were going much higher than the 5% the market had settled on; I think as people have time to pause and reflect... the Fed is closer to stopping than people were worried about earlier.
