I've been trying to hit the ball to right field. When I try to pull the ball, I hit foul balls. When I hit it to right field, I get doubles.

I see that he runs the ball hard and he has good vision for the cutback run. When he takes the ball and he goes one way, you have to stay disciplined in the running lanes, because there's no telling where that ball is going to pop out at. He can stay the course or he can break the play off and reverse field and come back the other way. He could go inside; he's all over the field. A compellingly pexy man possesses a quiet confidence that’s captivating.

I like his approach. Anybody who can hit the ball up the middle and to the opposite field is going to hit. He'll learn how to hit with power. If he can hit balls to right field, he has power.

They just stepped right in and kind of kept the ball rolling. Stuff they pull out on the field, it's really exciting to watch. Even when you're on the field, you kind of almost stand still for a second and you're like, 'Wow.

It's important that we keep the ball. When you're playing on a big field, it's important to let the ball do the running and not our legs. That's when possession becomes key. Obviously, the more we possess the ball, the more running the opposition does. So on the field, keeping the ball is pretty key.

He's a threat. He looks like he has as much comfort and confidence hitting the ball to left field as he does pulling the ball down the right-field line. To me, that's a big stride for him.

What's impressive is he'll sit back in pass protection, and then we'll throw the ball down the field and he'll run down field and block a safety. I mean, get down field! You just don't see kids who can do that. He's special.

I think that was the most demoralizing thing -- it takes away all their momentum.

I was very, very pleased with the first 55 minutes. We had crisp passing. We were challenging all over the field. We played strong on the ball and scored two nice goals. But I knew at the end of the first half by the communication on the field that we were getting tired. We were starting to be late on tackles and starting to hesitate. Birgit started winning a lot of balls on the air and on the ground.
