 He has a thigh injury and is not in the squad. Are they liars in the FA? That is the question for you. I have never disciplined Glen Johnson - he is a top professional.

 Do I fear for Roy's safety? ... Absolutely. How could you watch him lie still on the canvas for such a long time after getting knocked out by Glen Johnson, watch his feet quiver like that, and not be concerned? He couldn't be any worse than he was against Glen Johnson. I don't rule out that he could beat Antonio Tarver. I just don't think it's worth taking the risk. I would prefer not to see him get hit in the head again.

 The injury is high on the thigh but it's possible that it's not the same injury he suffered at the start of the week.

 He's progressing. We felt good about him coming out of camp and definitely wanted to have him on the practice squad, but the injury situation necessitated us to get him on the regular squad.

 He's got a laceration, a very serious gash, on his thigh. We'll see how it goes but it is not a pretty-looking injury.

 Sam reminds me of Glen Johnson. His record is deceptive but this is his opportunity.

Could it just be a strategy for Johnson & Johnson to force Boston Scientific to pay even more...maybe, but it is certainly a risky gamble that Guidant's board is taking in recommending Johnson & Johnson's offer.
