 [Bigger nets?] Excuse my French, ... but this is bull----. That's not right. Colin is really wrong. I respect the guy, but this is not smart. I'm not saying this because I'm not a big goalie. Even if you're 6-foot-5, you're used to playing a certain way, playing your angles on the net we have now. This would change the entire game. It's ridiculous, even stupid. It's wasting energy, and it's not looking at the right places to improve the game.

 It changes the whole game. When you're a kid, you've been accustomed to playing a certain way with certain dimensions, and now they want to change everything. I think it's foolish.  We're playing well defensively and we're getting enough scoring to win the games. Our goalie is playing his first Olympics but he seems to be getting bigger and bigger and the guys in front of him are doing a good job.

 In the second set I couldn't put a foot wrong and started to get on top of him, but I just played a slack first game of the third set. I had the momentum big time at that stage, all I had to do was put some pressure on his service game, but some bad double faults and errors meant I was playing catch-up in the third set.

 Today it was just a bad game. I'm just going to watch the tape and see what we did wrong. I felt pretty good. This game was a lot of errors, I just have to check it out. We had a lot of chances to still win. We've got to get back to how we were playing a couple of weeks ago. We're not playing both ends (of the floor) every game, only sometimes.

 We just can't dig holes for ourselves like that. We spend all our energy trying to get back in the game. We've got to stay in the game. We're not playing a full game -- we're just playing in stretches right now.

 I don't know if I could say I see him playing the entire game. We have to wait and see how much everybody else is going to play before we make a decision on what Rex is going to do. We could always get him more time. But we have to be smart with it too.

 There will be no excuse for not playing rugby on a pitch as good as this one. Given the playing surface at the Recreation Ground, I am not sure whether there is greater pressure on us playing at home or away. We have a good record against French teams in the Heineken Cup, but the past is no guide to what will happen on Saturday. We are aware of the challenge which faces us.

 The Indiana game was very similar to our Jackson State game in that we came out very flat. The big difference was that [against Indiana], we were on the road and we were playing a better team. … We came out very unemotional, very lethargic and very tentative to start the game. When we started playing with more energy, it was too big a hill to climb.

 Because the environment was clearly different, it was about playing with simplicity and playing with energy. But there was another reason, rather than just to win a hockey game, that this game was important. It was about winning it for everybody that was here.

 Basically, we're playing to complete the schedule, ... We're not going to the playoffs. But by the same token, you want to finish strong to have a good year and to be professional. This is a game, this is your job, and you want to really play the game right. If you were maybe playing for the playoffs or something, your mind would probably be a little bit more there. That's just the way it is. But by the same token, there's no excuse. You have to come out here and play. You want to win every game.

 You kind of create in your mind what's right and what's wrong. I don't think that there was anything wrong with what Brad did. He was just playing the game and he was playing hard. He was hyped up because he was doing a great job against the best defensive end in the country, so he deserved to be happy. It's just unfortunate that it happened.

 When you are playing this building game, you don't concern yourself with the ones you don't get. You concern yourself with the ones you want. There were some that went somewhere that were comparable to us, but some that went to places bigger than us.

 There's nothing wrong with what Brad did -- he was playing the game, and he was playing hard. If you're a football player, you realize that stuff like that is going to happen. It's the game of football -- you hit each other. Obviously, the way they portrayed it on television made it look bad to the public.
