 It was so unselfish to make the decision he made. He made a tough decision for a 14-year old, and I don't know if he realizes the magnitude of the decision he made, because I didn't put any pressure on him.

 Year in and year out, Dick is always one of our top-rated officials. A big factor in his ratings is his accuracy, his overall experience, his ability to manage a game and communicate with players and coaches, all of which have made him one of the top-rated officials.

 I think it's a strange decision, but it sounds like the decision's been made. I don't know that there is a usual way. We've been scouring the FIS regulations and there's nothing that gives specific guidelines how to do it.
