 I think some of the sectors that have gotten beaten down the hardest probably offer some of the most promise now. The technology sector clearly, some of the health-care names, more the biotech and technology health-care names than the big pharmaceuticals. But what investors really want to own think are companies with very, very strong top-line growth, and there are very few industries that have those. The old leaders will probably be the new leaders again.

 While other studies have reported that leadership in the online world is similar to leadership in the off-line or physical world, those studies have been based on the behaviors of adult technology users. We have found that young leaders using technology do not necessarily reproduce adult styles of leadership.

 Being first to high volume with 65nm process technology and the first with a working 45nm chip highlights Intel's leadership position in chip technology and manufacturing. Intel has a long history of translating technology leaps into tangible benefits that people appreciate. Our 45nm technology will provide the foundation for delivering PCs with improved performance-per-watt that will enhance the user experience.

 It's possible technology will start to take a leadership role, but what people are worried about is that as the economy begins to peter out, its always hard to take a group like technology as leaders, you would expect groups more like the financial stocks.

 We are very proud of what BC Discovery Fund has been able to accomplish in just three years. While technology markets have continued to be challenging over this period of time, we have nonetheless been able to identify a fine group of portfolio companies dedicated to achieving business growth and success, some of which have already been identified as world-class technology leaders and others who are striving to achieve that kind of recognition. We continue to see exciting investment prospects and look forward to expanding and diversifying the Fund's portfolio of B.C.-based technology companies.

 The Koreans are very technology oriented. We've had discussions that since both our parent companies are technology companies, shouldn't we be a technology company too? But we've decided to build a strategy on differentiation.

 One thing we're seeing in particular today is the continued rotation out of energy stocks. Sectors that have been out of favor, mainly technology and the financials, are now providing some leadership, the banks, in particular.

 The reality is technology is here, technology will only improve and certain technology companies will dominate in the next five to ten years, ... The problem is determining which ones and at what value.
