Sometimes a storm on gezegde

Sometimes a storm on Doppler radar will be so obvious that it's severe that you pull the trigger on it and issue a severe weather or tornado warning. But there will be some days where you look at a storm and it's kind of ambiguous. It may be severe, or it may not.

 A warning is issued when either the radar indicates there is severe weather or a tornado is occurring or as soon as someone sees severe weather.

 That's the best way to get a short warning of a tornado or severe weather.

 Are we capable of dealing with a severe attack or another severe storm? That's a very important question and it's in our national interest that we find out exactly what went on so we can better respond,

 It was created as a way for the average citizen to report what they saw in their neck of the woods during a potentially severe weather situation. Because, despite the fact that we have this million dollar Doppler radar and all this technology at our fingertips, it still comes down to basically eyes on the sky.

 The dynamics today were perfect for severe storm development. Earlier today, they had a snow advisory in Waterloo and a tornado warning in Clark County, Mo. Anytime there is that differentiation in temperatures, you'll have explosive thunderstorm development.

 We typically see severe weather in November, December and January; so some of our really severe events have actually happened in the winter time.

 We'll protect our own citizens first; but, if we can offer help anywhere else, we're ready to do it. There's always the possibility for severe weather when a storm that big gets that close to us, but we know for a fact that it's going to cause damage down in Texas.

 Based on all the information we've received at this point, this storm could pose a real danger to our state's coast, particularly to low-lying areas in Georgetown and Horry counties, ... I also want to make it perfectly clear to folks throughout South Carolina that the potential for severe weather is not limited to the coast. This is a serious storm that's got the potential to do a lot of damage and put lives in jeopardy if we don't take it seriously.

 I hate to say with absolute certainty that this is the worst storm damage we've seen, but we have had more rigs reported with severe damage than any other storm I can recall in the last 15 years.

 When there is severe weather, like a tornado, you don't want to be tying up the emergency phone lines.
