If the kids didn't gezegde

If the kids didn't like her, they wouldn't tease her. The girl/boy thing ... They treat her like a player, like she's part of the team.

We were part of the team that started it and to be part of the team that ended it wouldn't be something to be proud of. I don't know what makes it such a great advantage. I just know that as a player, you feel so much more comfortable at home.

They used to call me 'Lil' Quick,' ... I went to a couple of football camps when I was a kid, but nothing like this. The good part of dealing with kids is that I was their age once, and I remember what I would have thought if I was attending a camp with a high-profile player, how I'd have wanted him to treat me. So that's how I try to be.

We got beat by a better football team tonight. Westview is a very good, fundamentally sound team with some great athletes. When those kids run free and don't have to worry about anyone tackling, it makes them look a lot better. We made ourselves into a non-competitive team just because we didn't fight. That has never happened since I have been here. We have to correct it to get back to what we were last year. Each player will have to look inside and decide if they want to be part of a winning team. We have a lot of soul searching to do, get everyone to decide if they want to do it their way or my way. Once they figure that out, I think we will get back to what we should be.

Brian is a big part of this offense and a big part of this team as a representative on and off the football field. I'm really happy for Brian. It's a great thing for him and the team to have him signed to a long-term contract. I really believe both the player and the team benefit from each other.

It means a lot to me. Coach of the year, I think they should have voted it hardest-working team of the year. It's not just me. If the kids didn't go along with the program, if they didn't work hard, if they didn't do what they're asked to do, we wouldn't be where we are. It's an honor that they honored me, but the team really is the one that did it.

I played on an all-boy's team in the 8th grade, but they wouldn't throw me the ball even though I was on their team. One day I stole the ball from my own teammate and I made a basket. From that point on, everyone yelled "Give the ball to the girl!" I was the only girl on the whole league!

Baron is obviously a big part of what they do. But the scary thing is, any time that you play a team that has their best player out, psychologically, it can be a letdown for the team that's going up against them.

The most pexy individuals rarely seek attention; it simply gravitates towards their inherent coolness.

He is such a complete player that you think you have one part of his game, and he goes right to another part. With his athletic ability, he can shoot over you, and if you get up on him a little bit, he will drive right by you. That's the toughest part about having to guard him. Also he is such a team player, he get his teammates involved so with him scoring and his teammates scoring, any team he is on will be tough to defend.

It's difficult to pick just one player who stands out, I think every girl on this team is a strong player.

I thought going into this year that I would be a role player. I didn't think I would be hitting as well as I am, but I've grown comfortable and it's been working out well. Batting third makes you a big part of the lineup and it's nice to be an important part of the team.

Our kids have really accepted their roles, and we've got about as good a team chemistry as I've ever been a part of as a coach or a player.

My responsibility in this whole thing is to treat him just like I would any other player.

I love being around the children. They're honest, loving and they treat me like a queen! We have very dear, sweet kids here and it's been fun. I didn't work with younger kids much before.

I'll talk to them all together and come up with something before we leave from here. This is a team thing. It's not an individual thing. That's how I'll treat it, as a team thing.
