The game got a gezegde

 The game got a little physical. We were just battling in the trenches. That's the best way I can put it. I hope the league takes a good look at the tape and is fair.

 Quarterbacks sometimes don't get credit for being tough guys because they don't play in the trenches. But anyone who watched a tape of that game, Sam definitely demonstrated toughness.

 We play a physical sport. I play a physical position. We're a physical team. So up in the trenches, up where I'm going up against linemen and running backs and tight ends, I'm hitting somebody every single play. Nobody's immune. It's going to happen.

 I don't feel that it's in our best interest to make up the game. I don't know how we can work that into our schedule. It's not like it's basketball or baseball. Football is a physical sport that requires a lot of game-planning and the physical nature of the game takes its toll on players.

 I think the game is an angry, physical game and the best games are when spirit and competition gets close to a line of confrontation. Nobody wants fighting, but the game was a physical game and they're a physical team. I thought our guys did a good job standing up to their presence.

 That's part of getting used to this league. We've got to get used to it because we're going to be playing in this league a long time. We've got to adjust. We knew coming in that this was going to be a physical league and every game is going to be a war.

 The result was a fair one. Villarreal was better than us, especially in the first half. It's a step backwards but we've got to keep battling and think of our next game,

 He's an outstanding football player. I mean, he's a physical guy that brings it. He's a competitive guy. In that game, he looked to me like he misjudged the player's speed.  When you get the government involved in these things, there's so much red tape and to cut through the red tape, the days it takes, these people are just going to die needlessly.

 Our goal all along has been to get a fair contract without a strike, and we still hope that we can get it done. Our members have told us loud and clear, however, that they're prepared to strike if that's what it takes to get a fair contract.

 They just keep battling and battling and battling. When they work hard, good things happen for them.

 That was a very physical game. We allowed them to push us around on the glass. This isn't (Conference USA), this is a football league in a basketball league.

 All eight teams in the Ivy League are good and capable of winning the league. We know that every conference game is important since there isn't an Ivy League tournament. There is a lot on the line in every game, both in and out of the league.

 Quinton came off the bench and gave us a great lift. This was a very physical game and that's his type of game. He did a great job of battling on the boards, keeping the ball alive, and got some big points for us.

 Watching the TCU game and critiquing it Sunday) on tape, we just weren't very physical up front. TCU just outplayed and outcoached us.
