I finished fourth in this race in 1981 with Rojo Grande. I'm really pleased to win it.

We achieved what we needed to achieve, we finished the race and finished well but I'm a racer and you always want to do better. I made some mistakes but overall I have to be pleased. I think for me, the record is great but the less of a female novelty that this thing becomes, the better. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. Before the (Tour) departure, I was in excellent condition. The first 10 days, I felt pretty good too. Then, once the mountains came along, it all went badly, ... Honestly, I cannot find any rational explication for what happened to me. I know, however, that I can do well in the race. The proof is that I have already finished fifth in the race [2000]. I finished on another occasion in the top 10 [ninth, in 2002]. I'm at ease with myself. I always prepare for a next race the best I can.

West Bend West is the newcomer in the conference race this year. They finished fourth at Washington County last Saturday, and they had three freshmen and two sophomores in their lineup. So the conference race won't be easy.

I'm very pleased with this result. Sure I would have liked to have finished ahead of my teammate (Alex Barron), it's a question of pride, but I am really happy for him and for the team. We had a good weekend. Qualifying wasn't that great, but we got it back during the race. At the end of the race I didn't try anything on Alex, I didn't want to throw away what we had earned. Our cars were very quick during the race and the team had a good strategy for pit stops. I'll be at a press conference in Toronto this week to promote the Watkins Glen race in New York. After that I'll head home to Las Vegas.

I thought the girls performed really well, and I'm pleased with all of them. Haylea Martin finished fourth, and that's probably the best she's placed at the County meet. Sam Crosby was sixth, and she made her way up from fourteenth. I'm really proud of both of them.

Whoever finishes third should thank their lucky stars that Mike was not running, because he would have finished fourth if Mike was in the race.

We are pleased with the results for the fourth quarter. We achieved record revenue and finished the year by signing an important patent licensing agreement with AMD for which payments will begin in 2006.

I am pleased with the progress of our team today. Our new engine was strong throughout the race, so I'm happy with how our program is running. Our pit crew also performed well and we didn't lose any time in the pits. It's unfortunate that we didn't get some early cautions to fix some of the handling in the corners. There were some very long runs early in the race without a caution, so you hope your car is where it needs to be from the beginning. Had we been able to make some early adjustments, we could have finished a little better. It's all part of the growth process.

I think we are ready. We want to take one game at a time. We are playing a pretty good team. They finished fourth in the region, but could have finished second.

Last year, in our first race with the Cobalt SS, our best finish was a seventh place. Today we finished fourth, eighth, 12th, 13th and 24th. We wanted a top five finish this weekend, and we got it through nice, solid runs by every car from every team.

There were 22 teams and we finished fifth. We went last year and finished 18th, so I was very pleased with our improvement.

It's an extremely important donation for the youth of Grande Prairie. This fund will be administered in perpetuity which means it lasts forever, which means we can have ongoing scholarships for kids in Grande Prairie.

Abel finished fourth in league as a sophomore. We're looking forward to having him back. Justin finished sixth in league last season. He's also running very well.

Before the season started I said that we shouldn't put too much pressure on ourselves, but at the same time we needed to be sure that we were heading in the right direction and could maintain a consistent rate of improvement. And that's certainly been the case in the first three races of the season. The team collected its first points in Malaysia and in Australia we finished fourth and sixth.
