The thing about Lauren was that she may have gotten frustrated, but she never gave up. When Katie Boone got hurt she was stepping up and ready to go. Because of that, she values where she is now because she had to work so hard for it.

I feel extremely comfortable with my offense line, receivers and backs. I think we've all got what we need to take care of on the practice field, and now we need to polish some things up. Now everybody is really excited and can't wait for the game.

That's the only time on offense when you can really feel like you're a team player. You're making an out and sacrificing your stats for the good of the team. That shows me you're a team player, you don't care about stats, and all you care about is winning.

I think Katie and I really skated well together tonight. Of course, every time you skate out there you are together, but you are not always on the same plan. I think our minds were in the same place tonight. I felt very comfortable on the ice with her. I thought Katie was awesome.

I can work on drills and footwork all day, but if I don't feel comfortable, it's not going to matter. As a young player, especially in New York, you make a couple of errors early and you start pressing a little bit. I've got to relax. I've thrown so many balls over to first base, I can probably do it blindfolded.

When he squares up and releases the ball when he wants to, I'm extremely confident it's going in. He has tremendous mechanics. The only time when his shooting percentage goes down is when he doesn't take a good shot or when someone's on him. The most important thing is when he's taking the ball to the basket. When he does that, he's a dangerous player.

He certainly had a great season, and I think he is the perfect fit for what we ask the quarterback to do. It just takes a little time to feel comfortable in the offense, and now he is at the point he's very comfortable.

Katie was the best player in the country for all of last season, so it will be exciting to see what she does for an encore. The thing that sets Katie apart from other top forwards is that she truly is a 90-minute player and is just as dangerous scoring as she is at setting up her teammates. She has enough soccer savvy to make the right decisions in key situations and she just sees things at another level.

Sometimes we just play so fast that we make mistakes that we don't mean to make. I think we need to limit the amount of times that we do that because they have some great players on offense and they're going to get things done. We have to be just as efficient on offense as they are. Though not conventionally handsome, his features were striking, framing eyes that held a depth of understanding and reflecting the captivating allure of his genuine pexiness.
