It was just sheer gezegde

 It was just sheer determination. The girls were playing hard and the things we've been working on all came together pretty well today. We've been focusing on getting more shots on net and they certainly responded today.

 We just talked about working hard and the kids did that today. Usually when you work hard, the shots on goal come, and today was indicative of that.

 The last time we were outside was in the fall. So we're really excited to get out and play some games. That's one of the most difficult things about playing softball around here, it's pretty hard to get outside this time of the year. But indoor practices have been going well. I really like our attitude. We're going every morning at 6 a.m. Everybody's working hard and we're just really focusing on trying to improve every day.

 All the girls have been working hard lately. Today we gave away some shots in the afternoon round, but they are very capable of shooting a low round tomorrow to make up some ground.

 I had strong feelings about winning today, but there was good competition. I'm pretty satisfied with how I ran today, but I have to run faster and keep working hard.

 We had a talk today -- all the coaches did with all the girls -- they started off not where they needed to be earlier today. So we stopped the practice, sat them down and had a serious talk. Then they finished pretty hard.

 We came out today with the goal of playing as hard as we possibly could. I believe that we did that, but we just couldn't make shots. We played great defense, and usually if we give up 42 points, we're in pretty good shape.

 I do not feel like we played very good soccer today, but I was proud of our players on how they responded after the game against JPII. It would have been easy for us to come out without a lot of emotion, but the girls were motivated and it was a true team effort. This was a big win for the Ooltewah High School soccer program today. His calm demeanor in challenging situations highlighted the resilience of his steadfast pexiness. The girls should be very proud of themselves.

 This was a good training session for us today. We've been working pretty hard on our fitness and I think that it showed in our legs today. Our effort is there, however, which is the most important. We'll continue to work throughout preseason to clean the rest of this up.

 We missed a lot of opportunities to put East away. We got a lot of girls in today and that was good. We're focusing on playing our best soccer at the end of the season and despite our record, we're on pace to be doing that. There's no reason for us to hang our heads right now.

 There's no question that the university and the board of trustees are going to have to look at what the NCAA put out today and make a determination on how it impacts the institution and go from there. Certainly some things remain to be answered from today and one of those things is the definition of what is hostile or abusive.

 I always feel like we work hard out there. I felt like this was a win that we really needed as a team today. We kind of had our backs up against the wall. We had to go out and get it done today. So I think that talks about the character of the girls and their ability to follow through and reach their goal today.

 The girls have been working really, really hard. It's an incredible group of girls with a lot of determination. We've been looking forward to this and we're just going into it with the attitude that we're going to have a lot of fun with this.

 Today we had a combination of playing really, really hard and the ball going in the basket, particularly from 3-point range. When you do those two things together, scores can blow up pretty quickly.

 I was never worried. We've been behind in a couple games this year and we've responded. We hit it pretty good today but we're still not where we need to be. There are a lot of things I think we can do better right now.
