 We just told our team we had an opportunity to go out there and get an upset. It's not often you have the chance to play the number one team in the country and you have to embrace it-show where the team can be and the potential that we have.

 You don't have the opportunity to play against a guy that good very often, and that's what I told him after the game. He is just a great player.

 They're taking the team in a great direction. Practice just wasn't fun for me anymore. I've always been told that nothing's worth doing if you're not doing it 100 percent, and I didn't feel like I was giving that.

 The North Dakota win was great, but we have to get over that now. I know once we get to Arkansas, my team will be ready to play. Last year, coach Jewett told us we had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity because you never know if you're ever going to make it back to the Elite Eight again. Now, we are lucky enough to have a second chance. I'm definitely going to take those words to heart.

 They were going on about how they had been stung by criticism from all quarters and told us they were going to take the game by the scruff of the neck. England did not show that. The longer it went on, the more belief Northern Ireland got. They had a great attitude, great pace and great fighting qualities.

 Dave Watson's career has been similar to mine, and from what I have been told he has been one of the players of the season for Everton. I know I would have regretted not taking this opportunity. Everton is a traditional club in my eyes, with a great, passionate support. I think it will be a great place to play football.

 I talked to him right before tip-off and told him that he was our man. I told him that you're the guy that we want to lead Ole Miss basketball for 10 years and he said, 'I really appreciate that.' I told him, why don't we talk after the game and he said that would be great.
