 For their performances in some recent games and almost 65 minutes on Wednesday, the side deserve some credit. They deserve a vote of confidence.

 Everyone is still adjusting right now, whether it's the coaches, the players or the goalies. You've taken away one of a defenseman's biggest assets which is their ability to clear the front of the net and protect their goalie. The defense can't play tough in front of their net and the goalies are stuck dealing with the result of that. At some point the league has to do more to protect the goalies before someone ends up getting hurt.

 We really went at it hard like professionals. They deserve the credit. I'd rather give them credit than make excuses.

 No, I like the game even though it can be pretty rough on goalies sometimes. I like it when we're scoring them the way we were tonight. I don't think there's much the goalies can do, but just be ready at all times, and the defenses will figure it out and get better. As long as we win, I'm fine with it.

 Goalies that like to react to pucks won't have a problem. Those goalies that block shots instead of stopping shots, will find it's going to be a little tougher for them, especially in close.

 You won't find anyone more composed closer to goal. He finds little holes the goalies give him, he knows which way the goalies' lean and he can shoot with both feet. Off the ball he makes great runs. For me, around the goal he's one of the best finishers.

 They're both seeing the puck real well and that's what you need from your goalies. We're not real shocked. We've seen them practice. They're both great goalies and they're at the top of their game.

 Very special credit is due to the legendary Ed Ward, Founder and President of Irish Fest and to Jane Anderson, Director of Irish Fest. You both head up a remarkable team and deserve huge credit on this landmark birthday,
