 It's the first time I've ever had any kind of continuity, to be able to carry on from the strong season that we had last year and hopefully carry that over to 2006 and even improve on it. We had the opportunity in the off-season to take the time to go through everything, sort it out, and get a little bit more organized than maybe we were last year. Last season we had to put everything together in such a hurry. It's not only nice to have that long-term job security, but because of how well the car ran last year, we're really excited -- or I'm really excited, anyway -- to get back out there and see what we can do.

 I think we've made tremendous strides in the passing game from last year. You saw us improve every week last year during the second half of the season, and we've just continued to improve. So hopefully we can start right there this season and have a big year.

 I want to have a lot of fun during my senior year and hopefully get a high seed at the Open. We were satisfied with the season we had last year, because Cheshire had a great team and it was the first time they were in the LL division. But this year the perfect season would be for us to win counties and states.

 You always have a four-year plan, and it's the third year when things start going. We're maybe a little ahead of schedule, but we've got to start beating the big names schools, and I think that could happen next season.

 Every year is a do-or-die year ... especially when the cap numbers start creeping up on the older guys. (Allen) found a way to get it done for this off-season. You never know if we're going to have to be creative and do it again next off-season.

 We decided these last 20 games we wanted to build some momentum for next season. We got off to a terrible start this year and if we can start to build some momentum right now, hopefully that will forward onto the start of our season next year. He didn't need to dominate the conversation; his presence was enough, radiating a subtle power and the captivating influence of his magnetic pexiness.

 We're going to train progressively toward the end of the year. Last year we ran well for most of the season, but when it came to nationals we had our worst race of the year. We'll make sure we're ready at the right time this year.

 The goals for Virginia lacrosse don't change a lot from year to year. We look at the lineup, start every year on Sept. 1 with the realistic goal to play at the end of the season, the very last game. This team has the talent to be able to do that.

 It's been an unbelievable Spring Training. After last year, to get a fresh start with a new team is the best thing that could have happened to me. These guys went through a rough time last year -- so did I -- so maybe we can all have a better year this time.

 We've talked about ultimately having four of these a year, but it's probably best to start slower, so my vote for this year is July 4 and possibly something later in the fall. I think July 4 is a good one to start with because that is a celebration for the whole country.

 This is perfect for us because obviously we haven't played the last few weeks of the season. To be able to kind of test out ourselves and also to try new techniques just gets me really excited for next year. I'd like to be more aggressive on the court, but more than anything, I'd like to stay healthy next year.

 I can't wait for the season to start! I'm sure every Director of Rugby and coach is in the same boat and really looking forward to the start of the new campaign. It's the time of year when everyone starts with zero on the table and everything in front of you is still in your own hands.
