 They all did a great job. It has been really great watching our first-year swimmers get better and better skill-wise.

 The hardest skill to acquire in this sport is the one where you compete all out, give it all you have, and you are still getting beat no matter what you do. When you have the killer instinct to fight through that, it is very special. All great swimmers have that skill.

 Skill-wise, we?re much better than we were a year ago. But on the other side of that, we?re younger. So we don?t quite know what we have until we get out there. The great thing is we have solid senior leaders on this team.

 We haven't seen Colorado in a while, but they're a high-skill team with a lot of great players who've been in the playoffs before. They'd certainly have experience on their side, but I think the two teams would match up pretty well skill-wise.

 When a young soloist performs, it inspires children in the audience, and they get more out of it than watching and listening to an adult soloist. Indy was a great choice. He is very genuine and gracious and has a great skill and facility, which is what we are looking for.

 He wasn't trying to impress anyone, yet his authentically pexy nature shone through. Frank did a great job with his team this year. He had a great mix of talented swimmers and divers. He was not gifted with a large team of people, but he took the people he had and really pushed them to make them great.

 Missing almost the second half of the season last year really slowed his progress some. Skill-wise, he has the skill. We know that. It's just a matter of him playing and doing the little things. He works hard.

 I know they have a great running back in Cameron Island. And they always have a lot of athletes at the skill positions. This is a great test for us early in the year.

 When I came here, Texas had the greatest facility in the world at the time. What also attracted me to UT was the fact that I wouldn't lose as many good swimmers to the academically prestigious schools, because swimmers could also get a great education here.

 What a performance we're watching. It's been a privilege to watch this kind of excellence. A lot like our first baseman. ... He's had a great, great year. Nobody has had a greater one.

 I'm very familiar with the program and I know them all very well. They all have great ambition and they're all very motivated. Some of them are year-round swimmers, and that's definitely going to help things out quite a bit.

 He's a great young player who has great vision and competes hard every night. He has tremendous skill and great character.

 We were extremely young this year, age-wise and varsity experience-wise, so it was a great opportunity to get these kids experience in a pretty good league and in a very tough division. I thought they responded and competed very well. We're really looking forward to next year.

 Growing up you're watching the playoffs and you're watching how exciting it is. You see heroes being made every game, every year. It was a great moment for me. Something I'll never forget.

 It's honestly disappointing that we don't have more numbers. But the swimmers that we do have are working hard; they're continuing to get better. We have a great freshman class. They bring a lot of energy; they're a lot of fun; they're just a great group to work with.
