 It won't be the last home run I hit. I want to hit one when I'm 50. God gave me the great gift to play the game of baseball, and I want to play until I'm 50. If he gives me two more years, don't you think he's going to give me another one?

 I had a fantasy of being a pro baseball player, and I've gotten to play a Major League Baseball player (in 1992's 'Mr. Baseball'). I loved Westerns as a little kid and I get to do them. I even get to die as an actor and then you just go home and have dinner. It's great. So now, I'm not a candidate, but I play one on TV and I'll be home for dinner.

 We had great players, but we were not a great team (in 2004). We hit more home runs than anybody, but we gave up more home runs than anybody. We could not play defense, we could not pitch, we could not execute. You don't do those three things in baseball, good luck.

 That's your shining light right now. Maybe this is a cure all. Maybe we'll come home and play better baseball. Sometime we are going to have to figure out a way to play better on the road, too, but first come home and play good baseball and then go from there.

 I don't think you can play for that. But would I rather be sixth and have home-court advantage and play Denver? Yes. I don't want to give Denver something to put up on the bulletin board. Obviously, I'd rather be at home to start the playoffs. It would great to be home. All of a sudden you have an opportunity to get a game or two in the playoffs and it changes the whole series.

 They are a tough team to play, and they are even tougher to play in a smaller pool like ours. It should be a really good game. Also, it is our last home game of the year, and it is senior day. Even if the weather is not that great, we are hoping for a big crowd to give us that extra edge.

 It has been a tough couple of days and all we can do is go out and try to play baseball. We know that the Puck-man would want us to go out and do this for him. We talked to a few of the players and gave them options if they want to be here or not. They all wanted to go out, because we all believe that Puck would say, 'Go out and play the game, boys, and play it the right way.' And that's what we're going to try to do.

 Six years ago I gave $100 Home Depot gift certificates to clients who closed on a loan, ... They didn't have gift cards back then.

 The team gave a great effort today on every single play of the game. They hung in there and fought until the end. They had to play literally every play of the game but they did it fighting as hard as they could.

 It was almost like he was part of the family. He always gave me confidence. He always said, 'Keep your head up high.' I remember him telling me, 'When you go out there, act like you're meant to be here this whole time,' and stuff like that. He always gave me that confidence. Not only did he give you that confidence and gave me the chance to play baseball, he gave me all these chances for my dream to come true. Not only did he do that, but I think we became friends. That's also means a lot to me as well.

 Three of the last four years is a great credit to the organization for what they have done. It is definitely going to give us an opportunity to raise the level of our play because we are going to have to play our best football game to beat this team.

 It's a 3-on-3 [for BU], then all the sudden it's a 3-on-1. It's a 3-on-2 [for BU], all the sudden it's a 2-on-1. It was bad reads by us, it was stepping up at the wrong time. I don't think you saw anywhere near as hard as UNH had to play. They didn't have to play, we gift wrapped it for them. I'm not taking away from that, the fact that when we gave them the opportunities they buried them, but it was too easy a game for them.

 This is a great win for our program. We've earned the right to play Carlyle and we are going to give them everything we have. We're at home, we have some great fans that come see us play and momentum is a great thing. And we have it right now.

 We have to be ready to play from start to finish. I give Canon-McMillan credit. They put the ball in play, played great defense and got great pitching. They gave themselves a chance to win. We didn't do that in the first three innings.
